  1. There's only one way to settle this - we need to put him in a room with some kids and see if he nonces thems....will prove it either way, once and for all!
  2. Completely agree - they did a grand job - binged it over the weekend. Nice to spend a season on a book too, rather than trying to rush them. The guy they got to play him had it nailed it - I didn't mind the Tom Criuse films, but put up against this are nothing. Loved the inclusion of Neagly too.
  3. But if they do it to, say 20% of doors, then the bits that are cut off can be fashioned into door stops for the remaining 80%! Long live Queen Nicola!!
  4. Same here. We're told too LFT my 8 yr oldson every day now. I do it periodically, but not every day - he hates them.
  5. 'I had no idea I was leading a conga': Boris Johnson's birthday apology in full | The Daily Mash "Those assembled then began singing ‘Happy Birthday’, which I surmised was because they were washing their hands in accordance with Covid safety rules. I felt a glow of pride." 🤣
  6. I'm don't think that opening sequence has won me round to watching it. Though didn't even know it existed - he didn't strike me as a strong enough character in TSS, but might give it a go before the marvel stuff ramps up. Is it on any of the UK main streaming services?
  7. I have the feeling that there are too many strands shooting out in different directions - I sort of want some of them to come together again. The end of Loki feels a long time ago and almost forgotten - when we're talking about Kang, you'd think it would link into more than just a Loki series. I appreciate it's the phase 4 set up, but lots of new characters doing individual things doesnt feel like the point of the shared MC Universe. With post credits from Shang Chi and Eternals teasing more, plus Agatha, Kang and all the other new series on the way, you wonder what the next Endgame/Infinity War will be. I guess I'm just greedy, as their set up took years too.
  8. Saw Ron's Gone Wrong last night with the kids and wasn't a fan - not as good as the likes of Raya, Luca, Soul, Encanto, etc.
  9. Absolutely loved No Way Home - so glad it's doing well at the box office, in critic and fan reviews - felt like something special. So many nice touches and fan service. Felt a bit bad for Rhys Ifans and Thomas Haden Church, as they didn't get their names in the main end credits - I know they were relatively minor, but still nice to see them. Really excited for Dr Strange now and all the D+ series coming our way too. Hawkeye finale was pretty good too - MCU is really spoiling us.
  10. Booked in to see it on Sunday with my son - so excited - have binged the older Spidermans, with just S3 to see. Spoiler free so far and no idea why i'm even in this thread. Loving Hawkeye too - just great fun. Really excited for the new series on D+ next year too. My ex doesn't have D+ (doesnt like Marvel), so it's perfect for me an the boy to sit down to once a week.
  11. Am hoping they put some on line to order. Queued for ages and nothing left.
  12. Had a super day yesterday - drank far too much, but loved the bands. Bottom Line, Blood Youth, Roam, Snuff, McFly, A, Spunge, Antiflag, Alk3, Frank T and first couple of from NOFX. My voice is hoarse, my ribs hurt and I'm so hungover, but such a fab time. Merch ran out of L / XL tshirts pretty quick though.
  13. At least going to South, I can check social media tomorrow to see who played the set up north!
  14. I could imagine the SD gang lapping up Last Resort, Infest etc - would go down a treat. You normally end up with a chunk in their 30's/40's from the PID stage, so Papa Roach would tick the nostalgia box for them easily.
  15. BBC app has Hatfield as 10-15% chance of rain and up to 21C - without wishing to jinx it, pretty decent festival weather. Cannot wait! Getting the train rather than driving so I can have a few drinks too.
  16. Crikey Neil, you need to sort you keyboard out. You type like my dad speaks.....he's had a stroke! 🤣
  17. They're touring with Busted as McBusted a couple of weeks after SD, so might get 2 for 1!
  18. My day likely to be : Bottom Line / Roam / Snuff / Capdown / Creeper / WATIC (or Special Guests)/ A / Spunge / Skindred (a bit)/ Alk3 / Frank T / NOFX (or Special Guests). Very excited.
  19. Some of my clashes are starting to clear up. YAY! 2 sets of special guests now. The early one is only half an hour, so I'm guessing whoever was originally there, is now the headliner - possibly Neck Deep? The earlier one clashes with WATIC, so would have to be special to miss that.
  20. There might be some hope that Spunge and Alk3 don't clash if the Key Club stage is moving a bit!!
  21. They could be a shout as the special guests slot - as have a good history with the festival.
  22. Exactly - given the circumstances, it's a pretty great line up. Slam dunk clashes are part of the festival - it's good that there's so many good bands to fit in. Also lots of other bands further down that I can try out. Love it! My big choices look like: Spunge vs Alk3 (Prob Alk 3, as seeing Spunge in Oct). We Are the In Crown vs Skints (WATIC as not seen them) FFAF vs Frank T (Frank - more sing alongs)
  23. I love PRF - gutted their tour doesn't come near me. They'd be a great Slam Dunk band!
  24. Still a cracking line up - going to be so many clashes!
