  1. Yeah, some of the pathways actually existed last year but were not on the map (ie the trackway through the middle of Dairy). I emailed the Glastonbury Festival office last June (šŸ¤“) and asked about some of the paths being missing. They said they'd be added on future versions of the map. I guess they never got round to uploading it to the website before the last festival. There were also more water points and toilets in the camping areas, some of which are still missing from the map.
  2. Itā€™s pretty a pretty refreshing pilsner and will definitely go down well from the bars on a hot summers day. Much better than Carlsberg thatā€™s for sure.
  3. Made a little purchase for some taste testing this weekend.

    Glastocam!

Concrete on it's way for the Carhenge foundations.
  5. Due to various different issues, this year Iā€™m only going with a mate in a twosome. Looking forward to mixing things up and actually meeting some efesters IRL at one of the meet-ups if possible. Also want to explore and try something new this year, which should be an achievement with this being my 14th Glastonbury. Lineup wise, nothing beats Elton but Iā€™m sure Lizzo will be special too.
  6. From what I remember, the store was quite basic in what it sold but had huge amounts of everything. Sandwiches, canned drinks and single items of fruit were the main things I remember purchasing. Queues were busier between 9-12 I believe, reconvened getting there earlier or later in the day when the music is on.

    Glastocam!

On the subject of Nat Has Herpes, read this semi interesting article on the origin of it the other day: https://www.timeout.com/london/city-life/how-a-neighbourhood-meme-went-global-the-fascinating-story-of-nat-has-herpes
  8. Still doesnā€™t feel real but its fantastic to finally have tickets thanks to the amazing @Scrump. Having just 2 months to prepare rather than the normal 8 is a very new concept for me, but looking forward to getting stuck into the playlists and making some new discoveries. My 14th Glastonbury will also be very different due to it being just myself and another buddy rather than our normal large group. Planning on attending any gatherings and hopefully meeting some efesters IRL for the first time.
  9. You did amazingly well getting 2 groups through yourself! Hopefully catch you at one of the Glasto meet-ups so I can repay you in ciders!
  10. Posted this elsewhere but just wanted to say it again. I was one of the lucky few who was helped by a Matt from here (user unknown but thank you again!). Heartbreaking that we couldnā€™t get everyone through the door but hopefully this will balance out again for next year. Super grateful for this site and the community weā€™ve created around it, my love for the festival wouldnā€™t as fulfilled without you bunch.

  12. Good luck everyone, letā€™s hope weā€™re all successful today!
  13. Had 4 different browsers/windows open. 3 had the main standard ticket link and the other with the direct link refreshed automatically into the registration page just before 6pm. Canā€™t remember if I refreshed it manually tbh, was bit of a blur at the time.
  14. Iā€™m willing and able to go to whatever lengths are required to acquire tickets, just awaiting confirmation from another group to join up with. šŸ™‚
  15. I used the direct link, got through at 5.59 and managed to checkout by 6.02. Hoping for the same luck (this time for myself) on Sunday. šŸ¤žšŸ»
  16. Read too many horror stories of Royal Mail lost tickets in here, so I think I could only trust a person to person handover.
  17. I'm in one of the 2's but sadly situated in Kent and not remotely close enough to any of the other groups to co-ordinate meeting up beforehand. My anxiety wouldn't allow me to try and meet up just outside the festival! šŸ¤Æ
  18. Think we still need 64/75 tickets in group 1 so any other Sunday helpers out there would be gratefully received. ā¤ļø
  19. The 2002 Other Stage show with Dave Grohl on drums is up there as one of my fave gigs of all time! Just before Songs for the Deaf was released if I recall correctly. Wish there was a better version of this available online.
  20. Perfect time to wonder over to the cider bus and back between the good songs!
  21. Yes, any help with our group would of course be enormously appreciated. Think we only have a couple of volunteers so far. We're a lovely bunch, promise. šŸ˜‡
  22. Also want to thank anyone in advance for helping with group 1 (or any of the groups). This time next week we'll hopefully know if we'll be at the farm in June! Hopefully with everyone pulling together, we can do it, and looking forward to making some new friends along the way!
  23. My group has finally diminished to 2 (if we are successful next week). Looking for like minded people/groups for hanging out and to camp near (as per @chazwwe above). We usually base ourselves in Bushy/Rivermead so Darble isn't far.
