  1. Yes. Did that but the links on the email they sent me just send me back to the previous retrieve details page (the one before the one you've posted). Really hope you and @Crazyfool01are correct. Going through the contact GFL process just in case.
  2. FFS! Seriously what the actual f**k? I've done everything they've asked me to. Years they've had to get this right and they still cock up every year. Going to have to scroll back now to find this "process". Are you absolutely sure? Going back through emails I checked on 2nd Oct and 10th Sep and have emails from 19th Aug confirming request to update registration details.
  3. Just did the same. Stupid brain.
  4. Glad I came here to check. Did the retrieve details thing today (just to be sure, have probably already done it half a dozen times) and the "view, edit or delete this registration" link just cycles back to the retrieve details page. Same for the "online registration look up page" link. Email states "The following registrations are valid to buy tickets when they go on sale". So I'm good right? RIGHT? Anxiety levels up at the moment.
  5. Just in case, can you remind me where to find my hosts file on Windows Vista? (I know). I think I've asked this question every year since the 2012 great hosts file hack. I'm even more forgetful and technically illiterate a decade later. Again. Technically illiterate. What's a whitelist and where may I find it? Running chrome and android.
  6. Not really a fan but I can't see how they'd be able to top 2016.
  7. How come they've got tickets to give away already then?
  8. OK didn't realise it was for selfish profit.
  9. Oi! Stop it! Let us dream. What an hour that would be. Just her and a piano. Total acoustic set. Just the hits. Her last ever swan song. It'd be a bigger happening than Reg, Yes and slightly yes.
  10. Um? Didn't GFL do something similar last year iirc? For good causes and all that?
  11. Been busy and meant to reply to this a while ago. I can't remember but presume it's probably near the train station. If it comes to it I'll enquire nearer the time, Thank you.
  12. Flashback to this years eFests meet at Glastonbury. I was wearing a Jeff Beck T-Shirt. You came over and told the above anecdote. Which I'm sure you'd done at at at least one previous eFests meet at Glastonbury. Felt suitably jealous. Meningitis apparently. You're not meant to die from that these days are you? Proper lost too early that one. Today I Learned... So that Meat Loaf Dead Ringer For Love 7" will possibly not play any more? And Rush's Hemispheres LP? And their 7"s Hold Your Fire and the Countdown single that came in the shape of a shuttle launch? All corroded? Thanks. Watching now.
  13. A worse enunciater than Reg. Unpopular opinion I know but I preferred Brian Johnson. At least you could understand what he was singing. Would like to see them (well, Angus + whoever's in the band this week) headline but think £££ means no.
  14. I'm not saying it's not doable. I have seriously tried to work out the logistics.* But it is massively moved goalposts and would involve way more expenditure. I think I maybe a bit too old for hostels (don't they have an age limit?). *So. Drive to Bristol aiming to get there for Monday night for the stupid o'clock Tuesday morning coaches. Sleep in car. But. Where am I going to park the car for the whole weekend? Not likely going to be near the coach pick up point is it?! It;s all scary new stuff.
  15. I think my luck ran out when my fallback volunteering spot became a bit un-doable since Shelter/Avalon started running coaches from Bristol only. I could (just about) make it to London for stupid o'clock in the morning. The logistics of having to be in Bristol for that time are a total brain/ballache. Really peeved that this change has possibly geographically written off the chance of volunteering for a lot people who have previously put in years.
  16. Mine is also well out of date. Which is ironic given my four times a week commute ;) (This may possibly be an unwise confession). _____ And then this thread got heavy... Yeah. But. Capitalism requires you to commute to work and spend umpteen quid on a coffee and a snack etc. on your way My commute (mentioned earlier) takes me past a few massive industrial factories. Spewing out sh*t from their chimneys. Stinks it does. One of them is only allowed to vent certain by-products if the wind is blowing in the right direction. Like me sorting my plastic from my paper is making a dent compared to that. Now, I know these are a bit of a Marmite band 'round these parts, but I think it's appropriate:
  17. Yeah but that's not Dill Dandin, it's Stool Standing.
  18. Video now unavailable? Has someone pulled some strings?
  19. Anxiety levels through the roof now. Haven't missed one since '04 and really, really want that twenty years badge. Think I may be offering a reward/bribe again to anyone who gets me in...
  20. That's what me and friend wondered. Maybe all the suitable females are booked elsewhere? Or maybe Nile knows about as much as we do.
  21. Well, Nile has been producing Coldplay apparently. My friend's not the type to make encounters up.
  22. A friend bumped into Nile Rogers recently. He asked The Question. Coldplay, The 1975 and Foo Fighters was the reply.
