i travel extensively for work all over the world and sometimes multiple timezones in a couple of weeks. i always do my best to get on the right time zone on day 1 by staying up as late as possible (to get on the time frame I want) you should stay hydrated throughout the first day and rest as your body tells you but dont sleep too much out of the cycle you want I always find the first day the hardest and if you get through that you are on a winner. Glasto is much the same. push the first day to its max, lie in even if you are wide awake and take the second day easy. OR...just crack on and dont worry 😀

2017 I took my youngest daughter who was 13 at the time. After watching the Foo's we took a blanket and an inflatable tube seat up to the green fields. Her with a hot chocolate me a couple of beers. We found a small stage, sat down and watched the world go by for about an hour. She still talks about it now!

In previous years, yes. It’s possible they’ve changed it this year though I doubt they’ll add this option for any other offsite including campervans. Worthy view is self contained with a separate gate. I’m in a campervan this year snd would love an easy pass out process with just a wrist band. Unfortunately I can’t see GFL doing it as it weakens security

My first 2005, went with a mate who went too hard on the Thursday. Everything we could buy from the stone circle he did. Twice! Friday morning was so fucked and the site so bad. He managed through to Sunday but has never been back. broken on day 1 never to recover!

My first of 2022 last night. My sister and her husband decided to come on the Sunday. Having never been before they decided going to Glastonbury town was a better option. I was forced to show them round all day then was gutted I’d missed the last day. Was livid when I woke up. Ruined my morning.

I read that in a Scottish accent and couldn’t understand the issue until I got to the end 😀

Don't forget that the map overlay doesn't include anything outside of the site. Car Park, campervan field's off site camping etc. Add all them in it really shows how bloody large the full event is!

This for me is the key point. You are (in my own opinion) rewarded for preparation and persistence. If it crashes you keep going and keep hitting F5 until you have no hope. A virtual queue takes all that away. This for me is why so many people get to go year on year.

Working my way through the excellent Glastonbury 2022 play list. New music I've discovered (up to 'G') Amyl and the Sniffers Beabadoobee Big Thief Burna Boy Caroline Polachek Confidence Man Dry Cleaning Easy Life Girl in Red I genuinely have enjoyed listening to all of them and would be really happy to sit and watch each one! What a festival we have in store!
