Glad I came here to check. Did the retrieve details thing today (just to be sure, have probably already done it half a dozen times) and the "view, edit or delete this registration" link just cycles back to the retrieve details page.

Same for the "online registration look up page" link.

Email states "The following registrations are valid to buy tickets when they go on sale".

    So I'm good right? RIGHT?

Anxiety levels up at the moment.

If you’re not then none of us will be!

    it’ll all be good

I think all you get at the moment is the name reg number and postcode of whose registrations are valid to buy tickets.  At the moment I don’t think you can access the details with photo, address etc as they can’t now be altered. That will be available when registration reopens. Think that’s what’s happening

Definitely that's what's happening. Mine are all good as I checked and double checked but if I try to access now I get nothing.

    Digging up an old thread as its where I landed when searching around;

Whats the process for buying these (and WV) accommodation? When you buy your festival tickets from SeeTickets as normal, is there an option to add them during the ticket buying process or do you complete that transaction first then do accommodation separate?

And if it's the latter is it the same day, ie once you have tickets start hammering SeeTickets again for accomodation?

The festival has announced that all accommodation will be sold after the ticket sales. This is standard and usually takes place a couple of weeks later during an evening. All details can be found on the festival website

  4. Delighted that the ticket purchase process has remained the same. I know there are issues with it and lots of people will get so far and then get kicked out BUT it really does allow for the committed to triumph (you can agree or disagree if that's a good thing or not)

Very happy with the modest price increase but I do agree that £200/£300 to take a van is outrageous!

Did you manage to go back and get in eventually? I’d be heartbroken!

My brother in law drove down with the tickets from liverpool and I drove up. We met half way.

got set up on site about 12 hours after originally arriving 🙈

will check my tickets before leaving today

Their dream is over by the looks and sounds of it.  That's 1 seriously expensive mishap, never mind the mental anguish and stress.

Sorry PQ, i can speak from experience, they wont get in without a ticket. There is no exceptions made.

I just forgot my tickets one year and could show the actual ticket on facetime, have proof of purchase and everything else you could imagine

The answer at the box office was eventually a very strong no.

Best bet is to find the ticket, if thats impossible then I'd advise drinking heavily over the weekend in a dark room.

  7. Wait until the laundry van is making a slow approach to the festival gate. Have someone create a distraction ( could be old woman collapsing, stray tourist looking for directions etc etc) then jump in the back, get in a hamper and stay hidden until dark.

then congratulate yourself for a plan well executed and have a twix!

    enjoy

  8. Watched sports team do their first even Glastonbury gig there. They were epic.

love the crows nest. Always make a point of seeing at least 1 band each year there

  9. Been to a lot of wet, muddy Glastonbury’s and a lot of very hot one’s recently.
I’ll take a hot one (even 2019) over a cold and muddy one.

I can cope with either but I’d rather sit in the sunshine and need to cool down than stand in the rain/mud and be miserable

BUT each to their own and regardless I hope everyone has a blast

they don't mean anything really, it is just an alternative to the endless weather chart porn. I just tell you what is actually happening in Pilton (as opposed to Yeovilton etc) and add some random stuff.

Spoiler alert - it will all be OK, weather happens every day and pretty pictures won't change anything.

Any more updates on Micheal's view of the festival. Does he still think it's going to be a wet one?

    Also I LOVE the updates!

  11. My first year in 2005 we ended up (after a lot of searching in the heat for a spot) pitched in an area in Oxleyers which someone had been saving for a mate. It was a big space and we went to one side of it. Their mate ended up very close to them. They were not happy about it but we’d had enough of looking. Once set up we walked over with a box of Stella and shared them around. This helped and a good time was had by all.

well except my mate who went mad the first night on mushrooms and skunk and had a terrible festival!

    He’s never been back 😝

    News I've just received

There will be no central supply of firewood on site this year.

That's a shame. Not surprising as I'm sure even the waste wood they could get now has a hight value.

Just one more little change which makes me sad 😞

ask @drunk pumpkinthis 🙂  (answer is no)

I can 100% say that if you don't have your physical ticket in hand at the gate you are not getting in. No exceptions (can't speak for hospitality tickets)

I could show ID, proof of purchase, my father with the tickets in hand on face time showing they were ours with our pictures on and it was eventually (after about 5 hours) a hard no!

To be fair, lots of the stewards and security thought we would get in with everything we could show/had. That's why it took so long. They eventually got through to the most senior person on site (who had responsibility for ticketing, entry etc) and that's when we got the NO.

So had to drive back and get them.
