  1. All paid up. There is however one back in the pot!
  2. I'm sure that the changes made last year around crowd control were made with the best intention, they were however very poorly executed (in my experience) I am a great believer that local, tacit knowledge cannot be replaced and I do hope they start listening to the stewards who have years and years of experience managing crowds in those areas. Bottom of the Park has always been a struggle during busy times. There is no real way to avoid it when large acts finish. We all know you need to be patient and not worry. Last year felt completely different, I found myself caught up twice and it felt dangerous at times. Let's hope it gets improved for this year
  3. I love this discussion so much! Just need a map now!
  4. I've heard from a very good source that they wont be on the farm in any capacity
  5. You'll get a lot of challenge if you try and walk around the perimeter. It's something the security teams don't like you to do. The walkways on the outside of the fence are not for public use (as far as I'm aware) and they will challenge you all the way and direct you back to the first gate. I'd suggest travel light, go in through Gate A, enjoy the walk through the site as it's coming to life and have the guys meet you on site. I was in the camper van fields last year and entrance to the site on Wednesday morning through Gate C was taking up to 3 hours to get in. Once you're in you can sit, have a cider and chill. Just my thoughts though! Enjoy the festival
  6. That’s only £4.50 😂 my type of deal
  7. let me know when you have a vacancy 😀 My favourite part of the festival!
  8. wow, just reviewed the last two hours of posts, so many with absolutely nothing of value I thought I'd missed something big! Oh well, back to work 😔
  9. 2017 was without doubt one of my favourite years. This is despite leaving my tickets in Liverpool and having to drive back to meet someone to get them (long story!) My musical journey that year was dictated by my youngest but the highlight for me was the Foo's on the Saturday. I too loved the Chic show (also watch the headline a few years ago) Both my girls at the festival with me but my youngest staying with my on Pennards who at the time was only 13 we had such an amazing time together. Can't beat Glasto memories!
  10. Apparently they were asked to play but not to headline. I'm still being told there is no chance they will appear even in a secret set. I'm still hoping its wrong but don't believe it is
  11. I am, unfortunately. There is still no conflicting information that they will make a surprise u-turn and perform. However who knows what really goes through Matty's head at any given time. I really hope I'm wrong as I'd love to see them on the farm again
  12. Having a DRE is the way to detect an enlarged prostate. blood tests test your PSA Level which is an indicator for prostate cancer. I work in Urology so happy to answer any questions 😊
  13. I really should read the T's & C's 😔 Thanks for the update
  14. One of my favourite late night spots. Sitting off to one side just watching the world go by with my youngest in 2017 is one of my best memories ever!
  15. I think that the winners will be able to provide the two names for the tickets. (granted I didn't read the T's & C's when I entered)
  16. Agreed, just reviewed and entered. This will raise more than the auction!
  17. that'll be me! I had it confirmed that the Finsbury show would be the big one this year so makes me even more convinced that the news they aren't on the farm is 100% correct
  18. That would be an epic end to the festival!
  19. it must be a real challenge for the village during the set up, festival and take down. I know they get tickets to attend and there seems to be general support but I agree with previous posters that they need to voice objections now to ensure life is tolerable during the summer months. Noise (especially late night) is a real bother but if its only for 1 or maybe 2 weeks a year I'm sure its manageable.
  20. I think its more 'they' want to headline not they've been asked to headline
  21. I've had it from very very good authority that the 1975 will not be anywhere near glastonbury this year. They want to headline next year. No secret set for them!
  22. My year so far. Planning to hit the full year target before Glastonbury comes around!
