I had a great day. Every act was great with Roisin and Kae topping it for me (as predicted) with the best crowd connection by far. I found I could get between acts easily, especially when most of the field was playing ping pong between 1 and 2. The only food I bought had an acceptable queue time. Good bogs, great location. The tiny side stage (wooden shed thing) wasn’t advertised well and we stumbled across Rozi Plain towards the end of the evening. First time I’ve seen The Chems and am absolutely amazed at the show. 6.5 bands for £50 and in bed by 11:30. Boom.

Will watch the highlights I guess. About three years ago I visited the European Space Agency in France a few times to install some special electrical equipment on their massive machines that weld the huge rocket boosters for the new Ariane 6 project. I can’t wait for that launch but it’s running a few years late and was already out of date when they started the project as single use rockets for launching satellites has been superseded by Space X reusable design.

In 2015, the then prime minister (Cameron) came to my place of work to do one of those w*nky campaign events where he took questions from the factory workers. There was a lot of security and secrecy around the visit but about ten of us “political types” were tipped off that we may want to think of a question. Two things came up for me. 1) I was MOST excited to meet Nick Robinson. 2) I was the ONLY one on TV not clapping when he arrived to start the event.

I am absolutely delighted that Shantaram is coming to the telly. Any Shantaram fans here? But it’s gunna be on Apple TV+ which I don’t have. Not sure if I should get an account or wait for a DVD release.

Any news on when the stage times / breakdowns are? I want to plan who to see and who to miss. I’m only going Sunday Not long now.

News of his condition has been rather quiet since the attack. I wonder if it’s bad and they’re contacting family etc.

The Great series 2, C4 weekly. Absolutely silly and brilliant. The Rook, All 4. Quite similar to Heroes but with governmental twists. Only one series apparently Really enjoying it so far (watched 5/8).

I occasionally DJ local parties and said I’d avoid Jacko following that film. 2 hours later and I failed. As MrZigster says above, it’s Quincy Jones innit.

This was my fifth and the quality is always high. Spa was ace according to my three female friends that paid for it.

Just looked at pre-2020 emails. Looks like “tier one” is mid November ish.

Amazing time. Such a great festival. Camped with loads of friends. Found many good new bands and am now totally exhausted. Nice to connect with a few of you. When do early bird tickets go on sale?
