  1. Last night rounders injury. Fuck it. One stage per day will do. I’ll take anything.
  2. You should be able to park and leave a van there for sure. Festival will have provision for vans to park up. But not for sleeping in unless you plan to be super duper discreet about it and hope to not be spotted by security who won’t want people sleeping in car parks.
  3. And here is my van tour video……
  4. Before - Clashfinder. During - follow random doppelgänger. After - eFest reviews and YouTube links.
  5. Fantastic. I’m so pleased. well done. I took my van to the Lakes and Scotland. 12 nights in 12 different places. 1700m driven. I even managed to Virtual Meet from Glencoe!!
  6. Not enough signal for me to join tonight. Enjoy the VM. xx
  7. Far too wet and cold and gushy this morning. ‘‘Twas absolutely horrible weather. But all cleared up after lunch and I managed a 15 min loch dip this afternoon. Ben Nevis 2moro. Currently in Morrison’s panic buying chocolate. 😝 xx
  8. Good question. Risk = likelihood x severity. Likelihood rises by attending (FACT). Severity drops by vaxes (FACT) How each of us play this depends on your attitude to the risk. As this is a forum that is probably made up of active members who are planning to attend, the consensus is probably that most people here will be accepting the risk. I know that I am accepting the risk - ask me afterwards if I made the right decision because I am having to trust my own judgement here.
  9. It’s 26 months since my last festival. Probably 11:01 as wont want to look too keen.
  10. To my sweet melody. Lovely to have you join me on my van trip.
  11. Scotland….. is amazing. Van is also being amazing and really working well for me. So quiet in the wind and rain and road noise. And totally blacked out also. I’m currently somewhere in the middle of Glen Coe. Inching north 🧭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    John Grant

His last John Peel performance was remarkable in that he actually tried to sing baritone with flu.
  23. Finally snagged a campervan ticket after 30 hours of F5 on Twickets.
  24. Nice. I have just “virtually” finished. Sat down for lunch and finally after 30 hours of F5 have managed to buy a camper van ticket to my only festival this year EOTR. I ended up paying for a large van because that was the first lucky F5 I got, yet I will have one of the smallest vans on site. Should be comedy. Just need to properly string the lights and add a few fastener here and a bolt there. Scotland on Wednesday. Photo of the side door panel.
