  1. I have answered this in questions for you. 🙂
  2. You need a quiet ticket, here is a map and photo of how the fields are separated. 🙂
  3. It used to be the case but it changed a few years ago, Visa and MasterCard only, not American Express. 🙂
  4. It goes back to when you had to buy 2 campervan tickets if your live in vehicle was over 8 metres. This changed in 2017 to having to buy a large vehicle pass which are only available at Bath & West. So they have had plenty of time to fix it but have never bothered! Extra revenue I guess! 🤷🏼
  5. As you could in the ticket sale I would say the same applies for accommodation. 🙂
  6. There is only space for one registration number. But it all goes wrong when people have helpers and everyone buys one! SeeTickets deny it's possible and then try to charge a cancellation fee! 🙄
  7. I think 6 is the record!! A WhatsApp group is needed to prevent it. 😂
  8. But do you have the front row overlooking the festival, a grand piano, sofas, hay bales and your own stage on a converted horse box? 😂
  9. The towing vehicle can be parked with the caravan, however the caravan cannot exceed 8 metres. The caravan is not classed as a vehicle as it's a trailer. If in doubt of the length book Bath and West as it's a long drive if you are turned away due to the one way system. 🙂
  10. You need to purchase an East Quiet Campervan Ticket, they no longer call them family fields, you now have to choose either Quiet (was family). or Standard (was General) here is how they fill the fields and the numbers of the fields.....☺️
  11. Me, I won 2 via eFestivals back in 2016! 🥳
  12. If you have several people trying you will end up with several tickets unless SeeTickets have fixed the issue. It's one per transaction, people have had as many as 6! Set up a WhatsApp group to communicate. 🙂
  13. Yes you can, here is a screenshot and a link to the full ticket information page. Remember that you will need to pay in full to book. 🙂https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/
  14. A campervan pass is £200 or £300 depending on the length. The campervan fields are outside the pedestrian gates so there aren't any onsite campervans. Nor can you hire one from the festival, you will need to investigate this yourself. If you hire to have one delivered to the festival this will be delivered to E25 and you will need to purchase an East Quiet ticket. If you drive it yourself this opens up the option of East Standard or Bath & West Showground where a 24 hour shuttle runs to and from the festival. You don't get to choose which field you are in, just the type of pass you purchase. More details here - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/info-campervans-and-caravans/n 🙂
  15. This is so correct! Some of my close friends wanted to join us in 2010. In 2011 they wanted to add 3 others. We were an established group before they came along but had to become a new group in our "syndicate." They did this again and again but were never once successful in getting tickets. They would actually make a brew during the sale! 😱 The last time they asked for help I didn't offer them the chance of joining us. This is why some groups are more successful than others! You need dedication from ALL members. Choose your group very carefully! 👍🏻😂
  16. This is the advice given by the festival, if your live in vehicle doesn't match the required criteria you could be turned away. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/info-campervans-and-caravans/. 🙂
  17. I use https://glastonbury.seetickets.com 🙂

Yes it has changed significantly from last year and anyone using the Accessible Facilities will have to vetted by Nimbus. Applying for the Nimbus Access Card - £15 for 3 years or a free Glastonbury Access Pass is the best way to find out if Nimbus will assign a +1 for your needs. Include as much evidence as possible including your access to work documents. My own application was very straightforward as I am in receipt of enhanced rate PIP for both care and mobility. I have included the screenshots from the application form below, apologies they need to be read from the bottom one upwards! 🙂
  19. Somewhere in a box in the loft I have a book called 5000 CHERISHED PLATES by Noel Woodall if I ever come across it I will see if it's featured. My dad's number plate was mentioned in the book which is why he bought or was given a copy.
  20. If it was the 70's it would also have had a suffix letter. My first car was a 1973 Mini DWA 470 H so I guess JOE 1 was earlier than that. Did he live in Oxfordshire? A great shame he didn't keep it and change his name to Joe! 😂
  21. His 3 initials followed by 1 🙂
  22. In 1956 my mum wrote to the council that ran Sheffield back then. The Lord Mayor got a new car every 2 years, so he wasn't due one that year. She requested the number plate he would have been allocated and was given it. This number plate was transferred to every vehicle my father owned until his death in 2007. It was left to me and every time I see it I think of him. So not everyone has spent money on a cherished number plate. 🙂
  23. You need to ask accessibility@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk this question as it's a new scheme this year. 🙂
