  1. Just thought people should know that at Aldi at the moment they are selling neat little half litre bags of Aussie plonk (Badgers Creek or some such) for £2.68, ideal for stuffing into rucksack corners...
  2. Oh no Bexj that's not the answer I was looking for! I think we might have to load up the rucksacks and see what we can get away with.

Do you reckon there would be any sort of trolley (for less than £35) that could handle it? I really thought that trolley would work as it has nice big wheels :P If the worse comes to the worse I wonder if we could stick stuff on a trolley and put it in a lock up. Then go and pitch the tent, have a drink and go back to the lock up for the second lot of things, which we could then carry between us, on the trolley?

I think last year the coach drop of point was to the north of the site, near pedestrian gate A? The other side of the pylons. The opposite side to Pennards!

  3. We tend to miss more from our must see list then we see, simply get engrossed in something else and then realise what time it is, decide there is no way we will make it right across the site. Laugh at how rubbish we are and then go and find some other random thing to marvel! Three music sets a day is usually our absolute limit across all the stages.

    Where does the time go?

  4. My mate had always wanted to come to Glasto but due to work could never.

Anyway a change of job meant that she could finally fullfill her dream and she managed to get

a ticket and towards the end of June we made our way to Somerset for her first Glasto

    The year

    2007

Poor lass chose the worst year to come for the first time and I felt so bad for her. If the fest

was not hard enough trying to get the car out of the car parks she got splattered in mud and

washed herself in just pants and bra in a puddle at side of road as trucks went past , a

nightmare 12 hour journey home , we got past Sheffield just before they shut the m1 cos

that resovoir was about to pop.

But bless her she took it in her stride and this year will be her 4th !

    :P

  5. Selfist twats with umbrellas - buy a waterproof jacket PLEASE!!! I want to seen the band not get dripped on.

Mud throwers - if you want to roll in cow shit feel free, please don't throw it at others.

And please if you can't eat your food, bin it, don't just drop it on the floor.

    Thank you. :P

  6. I personally have no objection to chairs on the large stages as long as its behind the mixing desk area, any further forward and you are in the way and stopping people dancing. And never ever ever should you put a chair up in the smaller tented stages ie Acoustic, Avalon, QH, Leftfield etc! :P

  7. Yes I too can honestly say I have never had a burger at Glastonbury as there is so much choice! Never had a Growler either but intend to follow Lucy's law this year!! :P

  8. Budget on £6.00 per meal bought. I personally have never cooked whilst camping. To save your money perhaps you could bring cereal or cereal bars and some fruit for breakfast, milk is available on-site. The food is in general lovely, just avoid most outlets near the larger stages.

    Have a great time! :P

  9. I have proper plates and mugs in ours, we no longer have any glass jars in there as this makes it easier so just a case of removing the drinking glasses! They are on the look out for bottles more than anything though so just rememer to decant everything into plastic.

  10. Just been to Morrisons and they have Brothers Bittersweet Apple Cider - alcohol content is 5.5%. Wasn't showing as being on offer on offer but was charged £1.00 a bottle so stock up! Others Brothers ciders were were on offer at 4 for £5.50.

Will report back later once sampled! :P

  11. The only way is to take their tents in your car (asuming you live closeby and you can shoehorn them into your car) and pitch them, will mean you have two journeys to/from the car to get you gear but at least you will be camped together. And your mates will be so grateful having not had to carry theirs tent on/to/from the coach! :P

  12. Hi

Welcome to the eFestivals forum :P

There is an old thread on this topic which may help. Most food stalls mentioned are there year after year in the same place so in time it becomes as easy to navigate the site as your nearest large city!

    /index.php?showtopic=97556&hl">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...ic=97556&hl

Enjoy the festival and the food you can eat! :P

PS: The information desks will give you a map/directions to anywhere you can't find. x
