Interestingly I think there is an error on the Anfield map that has been used on the ticket sites - unless I am reading it wrong. They have the seat kills in the main stand for what is presumably the press box situated between L5 and L6 - but in every seating map and real life image I can see, it's actually between L6 and L7.

I'm only interested in this because this is smack bang where my seats are 😅

L5-6 is directors box I think, press box to the right of it

  2. you'd expect them to gone by next summer but I can't see them carrying on forever so, maybe they might break their previous cycle rules, and do a few dates here and there?

Yep. also I still don’t buy the idea that they’d spend millions on rebuilding the Annie Road end with more seats, hospitality etc just to continue having the concert stages at that end. Would be a complete waste.

The redevelopment includes better load in and out that end. It's logistically easier having the stage that end but doesn't make sense capacity wise.

  4. There was a pic on here showing tickets behind the stage at Anfield, just the sides of the road end stand. If people are willing to be there to see f**k all. Maybe put a screen up for them

Dua Lipa / Harry Styles / Lady Gaga

if you swapped AM and Harry, I think both years look better. Going to be very poppy headliners the next few years

  6. He's a great performer, knows how to work the crowd, I seem him as a support years ago expecting it to be dull.

He's winning everyone over 1 show at a time

Interesting. So by that logic the fallow year would actually be 2024, despite 2020's not taking place.

This an argument that's currently ongoing?

I think we'd potentially know already if 2024 was going to be off, don't want to be too grim or speculate but I wonder given Michaels age, that nailing down a fallow year date isn't the best idea.

I thought there was a pattern to when fallow emerged that's been thrown a little out of wack due to covid meaning 2020 and 2021 were unplanned fallow years. 2026 would be after 4 festivals in a row (22-25) so I'd have thought maybe 2027 is the next fallow if they do 5 then one off?

Or am I imagining that this is the structure?

I think someone from the council argued 2020 quite a lot of build up disruption had taken place, Worthy Pastures in 2021, main festival in 2022 that residents haven't had a true break. The festival arguing the opposite

Could have some very late kickoffs if England qualify and play in Seattle/Vancouver - I’d be bang up for some 5am action on the pyramid

i'm sure that would cause some interesting license chat, just imagining being woke up to screams of a goal 🤣

  10. no chairs in lower half of the pyramid, if you need a chair then have them further back. Maybe even a bigger disability friendly section somewhere with access to toilets/water, people scream about the disability arguement when you mention chairs taking up space but its rarely a problem on the other days of the fest..

Ideally 2026, so I can go to the World Cup and not have to somehow fit that and Glastonbury together in the same period of time 🤣 selfish, I know

who will start the threads asking if the footie is on?
