Any rumours of who maybe added or dropped out?
Don't know about dropouts, but MC Yallah & Debmaster are playing Supersonic that weekend having dropped out of it and EOTR due to visa issues last year, and Vagabon and Altin Gun who were both due to play in 2021 are in the UK/Europe that weekend. There might also be some more shares with the various Psych Fests that weekend.

Sorry, I meant who is already down as playing.
Who has a new album from the current lineup due soon?
Oh, right. I can find Camera Obscura, the Lemon Twigs, Mdou Moctar, Sam Morton, Big Special and mui zyu.

Which acts have albums out between now and August?
Of EOTR size? Not a lot that have been announced and aren't already there. Goat Girl, maybe. John Grant's got a new one coming but he'd likely have been added by now. Cassandra Jenkins was a big fan of EOTR and just announced a new record this week. Les Savy Fav would be quite something for late night Big Top (though I'm leaning towards English Teacher taking that slot, both because the festival evidently loves them and they're now a top ten album act)

I really wouldn't read absolute accuracy into a message that refers to three solo artists as "three incredible new bands".

"full line up"? Maybe reading too much into it but could that be it after all?
They always use "full line-up" to mean "so far". They're still 21 acts down on last year.

Arlo Parks confirms for Friday. There's been a few confirmations and other new dates recently so I've updated the Clashfinder to suit.

I don't want to necessarily cast aspersions on the Play EOTR process but OTG is a long-time collaborator with and current DJ for Little Simz - in fact he opened for her on US tour last year.

If you're interested, the current state of day self-confirmations (or just unavailable on any other day):
Thursday: Bonnie Prince Billy, Richard Dawson, NewDad
Friday: Baxter Dury, Mdou Moctar, Militarie Gun, King Hannah, HotWax, mui zyu, Lip Critic, Wine Lips
Saturday: Clarissa Connelly, Flamingods, Palehound, Sam Amidon
Sunday: Ty Segall, Nation Of Language, Thus Love, Dawn Landes, Julianna Riolino, Maple Glider, Florence Adooni, Upchuck- 1

Interestingly Nation Of Language have the Thursday listed on their website tour dates, and while that's not unusual to see as a holding position it features at the end of a run of UK gigs and they're playing Meo Kalorama on the Friday, so they're either flying there and back unnecessarily or opening Woods.
Ignore this, they've self-confirmed for Sunday.
However, as per earlier posts, Richard Dawson has confirmed for Thursday.

I think this is the crux of how things are now. I remember in the mid-00s when there were all sorts of random festivals (There was one in particular I remember discussing when I worked at Corsica Studios that was meant to be held in a zoo??!)
Was this the infamous Zoo Thousand? https://mulebritannia.substack.com/p/zoo8festival

Melt-Banana starting a UK tour on the Sunday of EOTR weekend, wonder if they're a possible for the Friday or Saturday?
It starts on the Thursday.

New Manchester Psych Fest additions. Altin Gun pulled out late in 2021.

The Itch's debut single. Turns out they used to be two-thirds of Regressive Left.

I would also be surprised see them headline the Far Out, going off recent line ups. They did headline Far Out before, but that was back in 2017 and not sure if they've grown much in popularity since- no idea though!
I'd say there's a scarcity value to them, and I can't see them playing anywhere else, but also for scheduling I tend to go on what order the festival lists them in, and on the graphic and line-up page they're tenth, between Ezra Collective and Mount Kimbie who are very likely going to be Mountain subs - though I should add that's not foolproof as eighth are BC,NR who surely aren't going to be Mountain subs or headline a stage they were third from top of two years ago.
While I have the document open I may as well list the self-confirmations (and those that can't play any other day) I know about:
Thursday: Sleaford Mods (possibly Metz and Sheer Mag)
Friday: Jon Hopkins, Jesus & Mary Chain, Hurray For The Riff Raff
Saturday: Big Thief, Osees, Max Cooper, Ibibio Sound Machine, Nabihah Iqbal, Mannequin Pussy, Lonnie Holley
Sunday: Sampha, Explosions In The Sky, Ezra Collective, Pictish Trail, Muireann Bradley, Fabiana Palladino- 1

Are Osees a Far Out headliner? They're great don't get me wrong, but they are playing much smaller venues than last year's headliners and are miles behind the Spotify monthly listens of Slowdive and Young Fathers (although a bit ahead of GOAT).
Royel Otis have far more Spotify listeners than three of the headliners and are only 50,000 behind the other one. Should they be headlining by that metric?

Jesus & Mary Chain have self-confirmed for Friday, which means I'd say, huge surprise permitting, the Mountain headliners and (Thursday aside) subs and Far Out pre-midnight headliners are pretty much set for what's on the clashfinder through confirmations, available days and supposition.

We thinking there might be some more acts announced in April?
Second announcement was March 22nd last year, 12th April in 2022, 2nd April 2019, 7th March 2018. So, yes, though I'd guess it'll be week beginning 8th April now.

Melt-Banana just announced a September UK tour with dates free on 2 and 3 of September, EOTR and Supersonic? Or just the latter?
That's Monday and Tuesday. They're already listed for Supersonic on the 30th and have gigs on the 29th and 31st.

I'm not sure if it was a lucky / educated guess, but Thus Love are indeed playing on the Sunday. (Source their Instagram).
Thanks - weirdly enough I had a look at a few of the bigger to middle names yesterday and all three new-to-me self-confirmations were in the days I'd already allocated for them.

Joe Broughton's Folk Ensemble self confirm. Always a lot of fun when they play The Spotted Dog pub in Brum.
Looks like they have an association with Chai Wallahs: https://www.chaiwallahs.co.uk/artists/conservatoire-folk-ensemble God knows how they're all going to fit onto that stage, though.
