Indeed. Lest we forget, 2016 had very, very heavy rain for several days. There's literally not enough time before the gates open for that much water to fall unless it's a 2005 X10 event. And it won't be.

Absolutely true. Most of us don't spend five days out in the open. It doesn't have to be roasting to take its toll on your skin.

If we get Wed 2017 heat again, I'm going to wander around looking for a fire engine firing very cool water at everyone. I genuinely felt like I was going to pass out for a while, rubbing ice cubes on my head didn't seem to help.

@briddj may remember this, but wasn't there a long range forecast either last year or 2019 that turned out to be bang on - the GFS? 😯😯😯

No offense to Gav, he seems nice enough, but isn't he just reading from the least accurate model at this timeframe? And he's never been to the festival, so it's not as if he has any particular insights as to what effect the weather will have.

As much as hotter (>22) weather is lovely, I'm walking around in shorts and a light jacket at 18 and it's just so...livable. Maybe a bit chilly, but it's so easy to do stuff. Especially when walking about. And the pockets! Extra pockets from the jacket!!
