The drainage is shockingly good compared to say, 1998. Now that was wet. In some ways I actually preferred it to 1997, which wasn't quite so lake filled, but so much harder to get around because of the sticky mud. More like 2016 in that respect.

That's kind of perfect, especially if the rain is light. Warm enough to enjoy, but not hard work hot. Every run has been looking pretty decent for ages now!

I really feel for you. I'm not mad keen on the higher temperatures being forecast, but my only memory of The Proclaimers is it just being really nice. You're not walking around in a cardigan or anything are you? It's genuinely worrying, this kind of reaction to heat is really quite extreme, it's possible there may be a medical issue.
