This is why NUFC fans get frustrated with other fans commenting. Here's a list of why we hate MA: F*cked KK about (KK won a tribunal against the club) Joe Kinnear as manager and DOF. Two relegations from the PL (never happened before) Sports Direct advertising for next to no benefit for the club (Sports Direct Arena, anyone remember that?) Commercial revenue has dwindled. Pardew's 8 year contract. Released Jonas Gutierrez via text after he had beaten cancer and scored a goal to keep the club in the PL on the last day of the season. Let Rafa Benitez slip through his fingers because Rafa actually wanted to progress the club. The teams overall performance declined massively when compared to the previous 14 years. Lack of communication with the fans. The stadium is also starting to look a little worse for wear as nothing has been done about it during his ownership. Training facilities years behind the rest of the league (wheelie bins used for ice baths) For someone who hasn't liked to spend money on transfers and wants to develop young players to sell on for high value, he hasn't placed much stock in his youth system either.

No it doesn't but quite honestly, it'd be difficult for them to be worse than him, we've been a zombie club for years now. Already rumours thay Bruce will be on his way, thank f*ck for that.

Yes the new owners are dodgy af (spoiler alert, anyone with money is to differing degrees) But you can't point the finger like you are. The government deals with these people, they invest or own lots of things that you all use or enjoy in your lives. He opened Third Man Records London yesterday, I was in line for 6 hours to see the store but the first 40 people in line got tickets to a show in the store then after that he went across to DH's building to do a 5 set show from the balcony. It wasn't announced but rumours were circulating all day that he was going to do some sort of secret show (he's pretty well known for this all the way back to the The White Stripes days)

I saw Jack White live in London last night playing live from Damien Hirst's building balcony while I'm stood outside of Third Man Records London. One of the most bonkers live sets i've ever seen, one I'll never forget!

There we go then, that explains it. I did wonder but as mentioned earlier, why was it not advertised as such? I was way back in the tent and a little drunk so didn't quite know.

I'll add even further to it, someone commented on my video that they were lighting guy for the tent (could be a lie but I duno why they would comment that out of the blue and make it up) and I asked about Altern8 and they said they were indeed on 00:00 - 01:00. To my eyes it was just a guy djing which is not the usual Altern8 show I've seen in the past few years, 2 guys in hazmat suits and at least an MC on there with them is what I remember.

Bloke next to our tent deffo got it, was coughing all night Sunday and still Monday morning as we packed the tent away. I've had a neg LFT since getting home and feel fine though.

It used to be much worse than it is now iirc, everything stopped at least 15 mins before Levs played. The festival is essentially a Levellers con so it makes sense as 99% of the people there will want to watch them. My dad is a huge Levs fan and it's the reason we've been most years since 06 but the rest of the family poke a bit of fun about the Levs having an ego by playing the opening and closing slots of the festival but hell, if you can do it then why wouldn't you?

I'd rather you listened to a few tunes 😉 I'm hoping to break on to the festival circuit. Possibility that I'll be on at Beat Herder next year (was supposed to be booked for 2020 and the 2021) I kind of have backstage access at Beautiful Days but I'm always to chicken to try exploit it into getting booked.

There's photos on facebook of A8 on stage so they obviously turned up at some point. I walked off around 1AM but it went silent so I went back to check, everyone had the headsets on for silent disco at that point. Every time I've gone to see A8 over the years, they've always been late. I think they were 45 mins late at Bearded Theory a few years ago and they were slightly late last time at Beautiful Days I think.

Hahaha class! One of them stayed in place for ages in the urinals! I left some on cars too 😂

Does anybody know what time Altern 8 actually turned up? I waited until 1am and then it went silent disco. Apparently they did play so go knows what time they showed up. They always seem to be late whenever I've gone to see them.

This is great to hear. I know most were a bit no fussed with it when it released but I said it had the feel of one for the live show.

It always rains at least once at the festival 😆

I actually began my vegetarian diet at the 2018 festival, it was a super easy place to start it.
