first time I went to Glastonbury I bought a ticket in a shop a few weeks before.
We need another year like when Jay Z was announced and it didn't sell out until the Friday of the festival. They were selling them in shops that year I believe.

Booking pages are an absolute myth at this point, not seen one in about 5 years
Would you rather that or get to the one where you enter everything then it chucks you off? Happened loads to us over past 6 years, and again already today.

I got my wristband checked at the bridge more this year than ever before
Totally opposite for me, every time I came through the two stewards were just chatting, think maybe once I got the usual request.

Capacity was
13,500 in 2011
15,000 in 2014
17,500 in 2015
And has been the same since
Interesting. I'm wondering if extras got in then because there was no stewards on our entrance most nights and the ones down by the info point weren't as keen on shouting "wristbands in the air" as usual.

Rock Orchestra was very good btw!

We had 4 in the campervan field then another 2 were brought in on the Friday.

17.5 k is official capacity ... no change according to google
How long has it been this though? It definitely went up didn't it in the past 5 years?

Post your highlights; In writing, photo or video here.
Here's this year's video from me, hope you enjoy.

I think John Robb threw around the figure 20,000 a few times when introducing acts but that could just be an estimate/rounding and sound's better and easier then saying 17,500.
It was my first year but certinly seemed busy enough especially the main arena.
I saw 17K posted somewhere else.

Sounds like something from their early 2000s output. Love it.

I think Pope saves that even with the deflection.
Guess we'll never know because he decided to pick up the ball 40 yards from his goal line before a major final.
-
Thought Karius did well today to be fair @kaosmark2 can't blame the goal on him, was a deflection that to it off course and over him.
-
Offside and a deflection. Makes you sick.

Do not think there will be many goals in it to be honest, going for a comfy 2-0 win for man utd.
Yeah I don't think we'll win now unfortunately, I was super confident when they won the semi final but lost most of that confidence since. Think our best chance is an early goal and then shut Man U out.
Rashford is clearly alright just being used as part of these games by ETH.

Erik Ten Hag starting with the Fergie mind games I see. God I hope NUFC beat them.

at least he's got cup final experience, which is more than other newc players,
Oooof good joke. Might wanna check the careers of Trippier, Schar, Isak and Almiron out.

Man U escaping an obvious red card 🙄

Never say never. I knew it was going to be difficult - Manchester United maybe arriving at Wembley for that tie a few days after a big Europa League tie with Barcelona, but Rashford has been in brilliant form since the World Cup and they look to have ironed some of their shit out. The draw with Leeds indicates not all of the kinks out of their system, mind, but that's not quite the same as the rabble getting demolished by Brentford in August.
Dubravka's loan was poorly thought out, sure, and in retrospect, so was Darlow's to Hull, leaving us either with Karius - who last played a competitive game for Union Berlin during a loan spell in 2020 - or Mark Gillespie, who I forgot we still had and also hasn't played a competitive game since 2020.
Bruno's return is a bonus, as was a hint from Howe that Willock should also be available, given that's 2 of the first choice 3. But I'm aware something hasn't quite clicked since the FA Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, which exposed a real lack of depth in the first team bubble.
Too soon to hope for a similar rush of blood to the head by a Manchester United first team player against Leicester tomorrow?
It just feels so NUFC though to be heading into a final like this. Even when we've been good we've still found a way to f*ck it up which I thing Neil did say would happen.
