  1. Pixies also playing Lokerse, along with Future Islands. Odd them doing 2 similar sized Belgian festivals.
  2. Not been mentioned but Pixies, Phoenix (ffs) and Vitalic ruled out. All at Ronquières festival https://ronquieresfestival.be/lineup
  3. Wouldn't be surprised if it's LCD.
  4. Janelle Monae and Genisis Owusu from the MC line up please, would prefer half of BBK line up as well.
  5. From what's about so far, probably something like QOTSA, Fred Again (think those two are nailed on), Stormzy, Sam Smith possibly Lana Del Rey. Subs/High spots could be bands like Offspring, London Grammar, possibly Noah Kahan as his dates fit. I still think CDW will be one of the closers.
  6. Funnily enough I was with a massive Everton fan at the gig, think he was more happy with the result than the concert lol
  7. Hmm, mixed feelings probably tainted by lots and lots of crowd chatter - people talking through a whole song to then be quiet and applaud it when it finishes - drove me crazy. Its far bigger than I thought it would be and should be a good venue when they've ironed out the teething problems. Main issues are just getting around the place - you enter from the side at the back which means people naturally gravitate to the right hand side of the stage making it more cramped that side than it needs to be. I recommend walking past the self service bar (that's another story - no phone/wifi signal means it wasn't always working properly) and getting a spot to the left side of the room. Good points - downstairs (manned) bar is large, didn't take too long to get served and is reasonably priced - can't sniff at 4 quid for a pint of Amstel these days, and staff were great. In short, better than the Academy and Victoria Warehouse but still room for improvement. Sound and lighting was great. Really high ceiling though which probably took a bit away from the atmosphere.
  8. I was at Aviva Studios in Manchester for Johnny Marr last night. In the foyer they had random mirror balls put up, very reminiscent of LCD Soundsystems first album. Might be nothing but could definitely see them doing a couple of nights there in the summer. Did ask and the mirror balls have only been put up recently.
  9. Yep, hard to see her anywhere else but Pukkelpop, Lowlands or Electric Picnic that weekend. Billie Eilish also did the Wednesday concert at RES last year of course.
  10. Nicki Minaj in Europe in June, including Paris so it ain't her.
  11. Been a decent start for me, mainly because I'm looking for a festival where I've not seen many of the bands, which is proving harder by the year. Only seen Dua Lipa out of what's been announced so far. Jessie Ware is a great add.
  12. Just realised it could be a 'Heart of Gold' on that clip so maybe it's not so far fetched after all. If it is a clue to someone, it'd have to be someone relatively big to warrant a single announcement, which is why I thought it was Nicki Minaj.
  13. Playing Live is Live so ruled out.
  14. Reason I ask is that Pukkelpop posted this, this morning. https://fb.watch/oJDxFk9z2o/ Letter N, she has a song called 'Buy a Heart' and the background is pink. Seems plausible it's her and she'll be at Sziget as well.
  15. That's an N in the last 'P' right? Maybe they've finally rebooked Neil Young 😃
  16. Earliest ever announcement coming up? https://fb.watch/oJoFluf3jh/
  17. International bands generally have exclusivity clauses so they will only play one Belgian festival per summer. Applies more to the bigger bands.
  18. Translated lyrics from that song: Yes, yes, there are those who live in hiding their entire lives Sunday know by heart what they will say onMonday Announcement on Monday then?
