I wish they would give us an update or something, especially given Kendal (a week later by same team) has been announced and sold out... even if they just advise when they are going to give us the next update
Personally I'd rather it was pushed back but it will be interesting to see what happens tbh

No I've bought tickets for Manchester date 🙂

With Kendall calling going ahead, what's everyone's thoughts on Bluedot going ahead being it's the week before?
-
Also, on another note actually bought gig tickets for Metronomy for next year... so a sign this shit might be ending 😁
Errr WTF am I getting a downvote for this comment - jeez 🙄

On the WFH thing I like it just cos I don't like getting up at 5.30am and back by 7pm with 3hours+ of driving each day for a job I can very easily do from home....
What get me with my place is I'm still using my own computer and connecting via remote bloody desktop!! Find out my boss got her and one of the team new work laptops but missed me and the other team member off, she didn't even ask or let us know about it either - ridiculous tbh
It's not that I mind the office as such but I would like a hybrid model if possible.. Rishi obviously thinking of his own portfolio and pals when saying get back to the office

So it's been 3 weeks since my 1st Pfizer jab, feeling a bit relieved tbh and hopefully the fella will get his in April all being well 🤞
With Europe and lets be honest the rest of the world, I do hope they catch up on their vaccination programmes as until we get global coverage of suppressing the risk with this vaccine, it's going to be hard to do anything normal as such...
I do worry for Brazil as they have that nutter in charge that is just letting them die on the bloody streets 😞

I've said it before once we start opening back up it's going to take time for a lot of people to get used to social situations, crowds etc.. I know I'm going to have my work cut out easing the fella out the house as he had anxiety before all this and covid has not helped that tbh
Article in the Guardian on how to talk those baby steps back to normality

On a side note yesterday the 14th March was the last time I met with my friends socially 😞 I've done one brief doorstep visit before Christmas to drop some presents off, but all other interactions have been at either the supermarket or the post office... it's been along time!!

I've said before I would like to WFH as much as possible as my 3hr+ car commute is a nightmare and really not looking forward to going back to that tbh
No idea what will happen at our place but don't want to ask until subject is brought up

I used to hate getting the Tube when I lived in London, my heart went out to people who still had to get it when the virus was kicking off and they were still squashed like sardines while knowing they were at high risk of catching it.
In Manchester they had these big cafe things where you pay per hour for infinite cake/coffee but the idea is you can use it as a work space and socialise at the same time. I feel such a yokel saying this in case it's well known in cities these days! What are these places called?! Think these will see a possible big expansion going forward with so many more people working from home, but wanting some human connections once or twice a week with others (though not an option for telesales or confidential data), unless maybe they had spill out private rooms you could use.
Your talk of the prospect of having to get up earlier has made me realise I've had to get up and start work earlier while working at home than I used to before the pandemic as nearly all my clients have wanted moving appointments during the pandemic! I've ended up working more hours, starting earlier and finishing later than ever before, and I haven't taken any holiday days off, so it's been quite a knackering pandemic for me, definitely need a break (and a hernia operation!) before returning properly to the outside world.

- Wagamama noodles
- Finally getting hair cut (it's been a year as didn't want my hairdresser coming into my home when she's been in shed loads of other houses) - fella has Barry Gibb vibes hair lol
- Festivals (but rather this be next year as not ready for that yet)

Has anyone worked out when 40s are likely to start getting offered it.
Early April?
I'd say yes for that, as invites starting for 50s this month so expect 40s in April

Try b and m! No gaurantees but they appear to have random flavours and drinks there.
Brothers said a few years ago they stopped making it unfortunately..... so anything in B&M now might be out of date lol
Thanks anyway 🙂

don't some people wear them in asian countries because of allergies?
There are 2 main reasons for mask wearing in Asia - pollution and when people are sick so that they don't spread their germs to others
Personally I think it's good etiquette for public transport going forward especially in winter

I'm only wondering as they sent an online survey thing out and there were a few questions about moving the festival back a number of weeks....
I think they might if they think the uptake will be higher based on the questionnaire they sent
I think that's fine but they should offer refunds or at least rollovers if folks don't want to attend IMO

Download Festival cancelled which is not surprising as before 21st June - until social distance rules lifted I can't see a camping festival going ahead (I'm still apprehensive about Bluedot but lets see what they say)

Does anyone know if you can select a date for a jab on the NHS website does that mean it's okay and you won't be turned away for not meeting all the criteria?
Just put fella's details in as nearly 49 for Manchester main vaccine centre and it's giving me tomorrow, but we're not sure whether to go ahead with it if we shouldn't be booking...
Also, anyone know if whether its the Oxford or the Pfizer one being dished out at that site?
