  1. Oh my word. Would be incredible to have them back on the farm. The 2016 show was one of my all time favourites

    Beer Prices

Does anyone remember the prices at the Brothers Bar and what flavours were on offer?

    Car v Coach

I think based on the various ways I've travelled over the years I'd have to say I rank them as coach > train > car. I don't drive but we've had nightmares in the car over the years from being stuck in traffic for 12 hours to being stranded down a country lane when my friend's car broke down. I feel the coach is the most consistent in terms of comfort and reliability (they seem to take a slightly different route when you get closer to the site?). It's such a relief as well to be able to dash so quickly to gate A when you arrive. Admittedly travelling back isn't great if there is a long wait for your coach but generally its not bad if you make an early dash.
  4. All paid and now worrying about the resale for pals in a few weeks time...
  5. This one? https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2019/ EDIT: Sorry just realised you mean the actual programme they hand out!
  6. The Wednesday its most just like any other late night venue but with the sound not as loud due to the license. Best nights are normally Friday and Saturday
  7. Would be great to have something in Silver Hayes. Wilderness Festival had an LGBT venue which had a great lineup of events and cabaret throughout the day then great music at night. Its good to see festivals catering to that more now
  8. What did I miss for Kendrick to be regarded as so likely?
  9. I think that's a fair challenge. However, I view it as a bit of an institution now. In the world outside festivals we wouldn't be calling for successful venues or clubs to change, especially when they're so popular. I think they can probably get away with keeping it in a similar format as long as they have the artistic freedom with the rest of the block 9 space.
  10. Think the difficulty is the theme works so well with the team behind it who help run some of the edgiest nights to this day in London. I think as well with the kind of music and DJs they host it needs a venue that really captures the spirit. I'm sure we may see it evolve but I wouldn't want it to lose too much of its identity.
  11. 7am! If you booked with National Express the ticket should have an arrival time
  12. Just booked my coach ticket 🥳 Departing at 0330am from Victoria Coach station on the Wednesday 😅
  13. A friend of mine says they skip headliners to guarantee they get in. I didn't manage to get in last time on any day. I think it's also because world famous DJs want to do sets there as well. The queue for The Blessed Madonna was ridiculous in 2019. Thankfully its Glastonbury and there's so much to do but I felt for the people who stuck it out for like 4 hours waiting...
  14. It was new but it had mixed reviews from what I remember. Largely due to the sound system so it could just be that they might look to improve it next time around.
  15. I suspect the SE Corner will see some changes. I would not be surprised if the Block 9 team do something different with the IICON space.
  16. Our group that was going still need to sell one more Weekend 1 ticket so do DM me if interested 🙂
  17. We booked for Sziget today (13th-15th). Not a clue what to expect but the current line up looks decent and have heard good things about the general experience. May need to have a dig through this thread!
  18. Whilst I'd love to see more representation I think that ignores both The Communards and Michael Stipe (who headlined twice with REM, I think?)
  19. The Bicep crowd at Wilderness last year was one of the biggest of the weekend, easily. They really pulled in the numbers in 2016 too when they were in Block 9.
  20. We're bowing out which is a shame but trying to be careful with funds this summer. That means I have a ticket on Dice to sell if anyone needs one? Face value, of course.
  21. I guess that would depend on what his label would push for but I could see him personally being fine with it. You may well be right though.
  22. I think Harry Styles subbing Billie Eilish could be inspired...
