    Worthy reView

Last stayed in 2017, but as others have said, there were definitely 15min queues for coffee (at least) at peak times around 10am-11:30am. 40min queues for showers on average, not really an issue if having a coffee/can while queuing though. We took our stove, so just boiled our own water for coffees, and took food/milk in coolboxes for breakfast sambos for the first 3/4 days. Boiled water on the last couple of days for porridge with honey and chopped up fruit. That is one of the big advantages of having the carpark there next to the campsite IMO, having the stove and coolbox and food for making things to save £40+ per person on breakfast coffees/food for the festival.
  2. To reduce touting. e: and as @Tartan_Glasto says, the different on-sale days/times are to stop the whole site grinding to a halt. Having some people given codes to buy, and others on a waitlist, helps with both too.

    2024 Headliners

Cutting out some dancing/choreography on certain songs, and cutting some songs from the setlist altogether, is hardly "designing a brand new show" people, get a grip. She's not going to play Glastonbury, but getting her enormous team of tour production managers, assistants and professional dancers to make some changes over the next 11 months isn't that difficult. She might even find time in the 4 days off a week for several months to actually rehearse it a few times, if she was arsed. Which she won't be, as she would have designed the tour to be properly free for Glastonbury if she was actually playing.

    2024 Headliners

I don't think she'll play but: a) She can just cut some songs. It's not that hard. I'm sure the fest would give her 2hrs30m, or even 3hrs if that's what she wants. Easily solvable. The stage really isn't that much different, it's a main stage with a walkway and a B/C stage. Glastonbury has done an overnight setup of a walkway and B stage in the past. Would certainly involve tweaking the show a little, but the vast majority of the Eras set takes place on the main stage, and would at Glastonbury too. b) 4 days off between most locations. 5 days off after London before Dublin. It's not that difficult. It's not rehearsing a whole new show. It's likely making changes to the existing show for certains songs where she uses the B/C stages. She's performed a number of those songs in the past just on a main stage. Several songs would likely not need any changes. She has several months to figure it out and do a few rehearsals. It's not like they have to dream it up a whole new show and rehearse between coming off stage in Dublin and getting to Worthy Farm. Again, I don't think she'll play, and think she would have structured the tour differently and not be in Dublin the previous two nights, if she was actually playing, but people making out that figuring out over several months how to ditch some dancing and cutting some songs from a set is akin to planning a NASA mission are hilarious.
  5. first few acts on all stages generally don't get recorded. Presumably due to staffing/shift hours. It's a long day if you need to be there at 11am to set up and get everything tested to record a broadcast mix, especially after finishing after midnight the previous night.
  6. Editors really surprised me at how good they were. Haven't listened to them since the 2nd album, so further listening today. Carly Rae Jepsen fantastic as always. Wouldn't be a big fan, but Fred Again's set was a cracker. Also enjoyed Warpaint, The War on Drugs and Young Fathers.
  7. The latest in a long line of LDR acting like a self-entitled twat. Tune in next month to see what arsey behaviour she gets up to. Surprised she hasn't had a whinge on instagram yet.
  8. Ah yes, forgot LCD were touring again.
  9. Is Al Doyle not in Hot Chip any more?
  10. The special guest his name is none other than Tricky give it up y'all
  11. Sorry if it's been asked, but is the mad crazy lights over to the top right of the Pyramid, when they do the wide shots, the new Silver Hayes main stage?
  12. Poor old Chvrches. At least they might get spill over from people going from Churnups to get in early for Fred Again..
  13. Should have played Julien and Emotion, but I suppose it is a tour for the new album, so can't really cut too many of them.
  14. but....she already played Run Away With Me?
  15. Two new songs until the bangers start, if recent CRJ setlists are anything to go by.
  16. Last time they played they weren't shown either as were on a little too early for the coverage.
  17. I'd say zero chance of that. Did 2 nights in an 80k stadium here last time and they literally couldn't give tickets away. The second night was tens of thousands of people on freebies. Sports clubs being given bundles etc. This time around it's 2 nights in a 55k stadium, so that'll be it.
  18. A stage dedicated to techno. Outside a few acts dotted throughout the SE corner, SH or Arcadia, usually playing inbetween house or DNB acts, there's almost no techno at Glastonbury whatsoever. The closest thing is usually a run of 3 acts at somewhere like The Temple. Given that there's about 30 stages that exclusively have DnB or house acts for the whole weekend, I don't know why there's none with a techno programme, especially given its mainstream popularity in recent years.

    The Park 2023

Doubt it has anything to do with trying to pull people away from Reg. Someone has to headline the other stages, and bigger acts headline stages. It's just the luck of the draw.... Who are they going to have headline The Park/Woodsies otherwise? Some mid-tier act, and have Phoenix/Alt-J play in the afternoon?

    The Park 2023

Definitely a weak Park lineup compared to most other years IMO

Slowdive at 5pm Sunday is a must-see. Saw them at Primavera a few years ago and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Managing to see them earlier in the day, with much less chance of clashes, is a no-brainer
