Offering the u21 ticket is a good initiative, electric castle is doing the same. With festivals getting to a point of being over priced, they need to get new people to come to the festival. Take reading/leeds and parklife festivals as examples. 2 festivals who rely on the 18-21 age range to buy tickets, neither is sold out. Roskilde and rock werchter are other examples, festivals are just not selling apart from a select few.

Would Armin Van Burren be to big to headline the party arena? He is doing the rounds at creamfields late August, tomorrowland in July. He isn't doing Balaton either.

They seems to be going at there usual pace, they've also only been out 6 days. It is perhaps telling its the non guitar bands that are selling. Perhaps organisers know more about festivals the the efests forum. 😃

Way out west is my fave of the summer, but no camping. Werchter is pretty average by there standards.

Liam is playing accross Europe. Don't see biffy being much of a pull outside the UK this summer. Not much of a pull next year either.

That's the UK though, it isn't relevant. I saw editors play club gigs, then headlined rock werchter. It's different country to country.
