Yeah, Gossip are a band I loved at the time and never actually managed to see so I'd be happy with them as a headliner too. Unless Anohni is on Park then I'll be at that.

I want to be in the pit for LCD but am already stressed at the thought of trying to get out of it after they have finished. I find that for bands like Coldplay, people just start pouring in when the sub finishes without giving you a chance to get out. Getting out of The National before Foo Fighters was not pleasant.

I'd rather not see any Pyramid headliners generally as I find it can be so busy and sometimes hard work to get in a decent spot. Based on these rumours, I'll be watching SZA for sure. Have wanted to see her for a while and it's not worked out for me yet. Will happily skip Coldplay and Dua.

Yeah, lots of people seemed to enjoy it and I can certainly understand why. Agree she should be headlining the Pyramid too. I just personally felt disconnected from it so no point forcing things. If it's not for you, just go and see something else.

I'd say just go and see someone else. Dua's Primavera set didn't work for me; just felt like her arena set had been plonked into the festival. I felt like I was watching a show but not part of it, if that makes any sense?

Exactly this. She'll draw a decent crowd & also the coverage of her headlining will help with bringing new, younger people to Glastonbury. Each year the average age of a Glastonbury goer seems to get older and that can't be good for the long term survival of the festival.

I love The National but I seriously doubt they'd pull a bigger Pyramid crowd than SZA.

Didn't James self confirm early last time too? Mentioned in an interview they were opening the Other Stage which is why that slot was no longer a TBA?

Exactly that. They'd fenced off the front of the Other Stage and were waiting for tractors to come along with woodchip which caused considerable delays. Typical Glasto style, there were no announcements about this so people ended up waiting around.

Yeah, if people could refrain from tagging Glasto accounts on social media about this, that would be helpful!

Seeing both at All Points East last year, Jungle and Erykah Badu felt perfect for West Holts headliners. I know that the West Holts booker tweeted about Erykah's Forwards Festival set too.
