I've been listening to some of English Teacher as they're at Bearded. I know Last Dinner Party a bit from BBC6 but they're going to be on my listening list today while I work.

For some reason I get mixed up between Last Dinner Party and English Teacher. Probably because in my head their names both sound so....I dunno, British!

In the absence of being able to get excited about the lineup I am getting excited about this list! Lots that I would see there!

Maybe that's why I only saw it once - I'm usually in the Shed! But I swear it was there once! And a real ale stand a few times. Though my memory is hazy (due to pre match beer usually!)

Looking forward to the announcement of Thursday. I've seen some good, unknown to me acts. Seem to remember the Pierce Brothers from Australia (2022?) were really good. Didn't know them at all. Others I've known but have been a good, fun start. Added to that it's the first acts of the first festival of the year so I'm always up for enjoying myself. The tent is pitched, the beer has been poured, the sun is usually shining. Great stuff!

The pies at Shrewsbury Town FC are really good - steak and ale and chicken balti, the pastry is fantastic. Usually the best bit of match day (with the pre match pint a close second). There was also one time at Chelsea they had a phenomenal artisan pie on an independent stand. Never saw it again. Ditto the real ale (STFC have a real ale stand but most of the year it's too bloody cold to sink one at half time). Least said about football for either team this season, the better.

Heard Joan Armatrading on the radio this morning and would love to see her again (not necessarily the Legends slot, though in my eyes she is one). But she has some cracking songs.

Yeah they've posted on Facebook that due to "tragic news" they have cancelled the rest of the tour. 🙁

Well Kaiser Chiefs are definitely out as they've announced gigs on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday already. Would love to see Mika, The Streets, Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks and Wetleg.

Yep I'll be returning - 10th anniversary of first going and managed to go to all but 2015 when I didn't try as I didn't have anyone to go with. But that wouldn't stop me now!

I was mega excited this year when I realised he was touring right around Glasto and thought he was a definite. Until I looked closer at the dates - he wasn't touring abound Glasto but through. Gutted.

Eric Clapton was dull as f**k when I saw him a few years back. No interaction with the crowd at all, no chat, nothing. I'm not sure who seemed more bored, him or me. I was holding out for at least a banging Layla but no, he even did that acoustically and slowed down.
