I need to remember the best places to buy ale. I don't really do cider or other drinks and can't even remember at the moment what the standard bars sell (do they even all do real ale - I think most do?) There was the beer bus in, I think T&C, which was the cheapest I found I think. Can you help prompt my lack of knowledge?

I've got a meeting from 1015-1130 so if there's an announcement at 10 I'll have a few minutes to have a quick shuffty before coming back here at lunchtime to check what everyone thinks.

Agree - I love Strummerville and have seen some great bands there. I seem to remember that Johnny Lloyd was really good - just before Frank Turner. And the atmosphere up there is always chilled and friendly.

I think it's just across from the bandstand at the edge of the field. Not sure if I've been in there much.

I know I'm in the minority but I'm waiting for Acoustic, West Holts and the Park.

I came across a Facebook Memory today where I was raving about the bands due to play on the One Big Showcase Stage at BT in 2018. I've done a quick google and it's run been run in the past by Academy of Music and Sound but I can't find any reference to it this year? Anyone know anything?

Just a word of warning - I just checked my credit card and National Express have charged me three times for my coach. I've only been able to have a very quick look so far and have alerted the credit card company who have refunded two and are contacting NE. It's possible that it was something stupid I did but I only received one email confirmation so I don't think I inadvertently made three bookings (though I was a little bit excited .....) Anyway, thought it worth telling you to check your bank/credit card statement just in case.

They were one of the ones I have heard - I saw them at Bearded Theory in 2017 (I had to check that though, I just knew I knew them). And they're at my small local festival in August too!

Oh and I've continued my fitness regime - I've done something every night after work this week. Nothing too ambitious but hopefully building each week. It's not specifically Glasto but I realised that when I work from home I barely move and I might suddenly find myself completely incapable of turning it round.

There are many things on that list that I don't have a clue what they are!

Shame as some of the Chairlift stuff is good. But I like her solo stuff as well so far -will have to listen to more.

Listening to the Spotify playlist pretty constantly, noting what I think, scoring out of 5. All pretty pointless really as anything not a 1 or 2 is going to be pretty redundant!

I booked mine before I got a ticket! I had a volunteering place so actually cancelled a couple of days when I actuallly got a ticket as won't be going til Wednesday.

Listening to a combination of your Spotify list and Youtube and I liked Caroline Paluchek and Chairlift. Only just realised she is/was the lead singer of Chairlift! But I realise that Chairlift aren't on your Spotify list so I assume she doesn't sing Chairlift songs now? Is that right?
