Never thought I would see the day Glastonbury would be posting fowl pictures on their website. Someone better call the Pidgeon Detectives....

For the folks taking flags to see themselves, far cheaper buying a mirror. Save yourself £££££££££££££

If flags are affecting access to to the festival for people with disabilities then the local council should be made aware. They may then make it a condition of the festival licence for the flags to be dealt with. Its obvious Emily and her gang dont care and are unlikely to do anything unless forced.

Vlure playing God is a DJ on Thursday night. Place was jumping for the whole gig, PA looked close to toppling over with the bounce....

Best for me was the place doing vegetable Pakora with Kimchee and lime pickle for £4 in the Permaculture area, I think the place was called "Pakora". It was cooked in a pot of oil heated over a log fire which you sat around as you waited to order. Probablly the best Pakora I have tasted. Didnt have anything terribly bad, just some of the stalls were very overpriced as has already been mentioned.

Ends the statement saying he knows nothing of the Churnups with an OK and a question mark "OK?". I think he is teasing...

I would recomend Callum Easter who is on the Saturday Strummerville lineup, brilliant live, If you can imagine a cartoon James Bond villain playing a set this is as close as you would get. Can be quite dark but loaded with humour.

2023 See Tickets Coach Times and Departure Points...
cidermonkey replied to gooner1990's topic in Chat
I have been down on the Edinburgh coach a few times. Gets you to the gate around 8am give or take an hour. Tend to not sleep much on the way down but crash out on the way back. Excitement builds on the way down as you see more and more Glastonbury traffic at the service station stops. Is Glastonbury worth 10 hours sitting in a in coach ??? Hell Yeah -

I have been looking for a small lantern for my tent. Amazon have a twin pack of the Eveready collapsible lanterns reduced from £25 to £21 at the moment which look decent,. The have an additional light on the top so they can also be used as a torch. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energizer-Eveready-Collapsible-Lantern-Pack/dp/B086QG8VBQ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=THPYF0ES7RUG&keywords=Eveready+lantern&qid=1684742381&sprefix=eveready%20lantern%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

Orbital might have been the first to do a headline DJ set

Ended up here many times after midnight when Janeys which was the local disco in the 80s and 90s finished for the night to continue the party. Is it still salt water? I wonder how many people will claim to the the swimmer in the photo?

I wonder if he will turn up for a DJ set with Steve Davis. Seen them a few years ago at the back of the glade and they played Supernaut by Black Sabbath during their set. Loved it...

The Sunday of the festival is always the last Sunday in June. Next year the last Sunday in June is the 30th

Leftfield is full of champagne socialist and is a bit shit The John Peel stage hasn't been renamed Woodsies just so it matches the field name They should take more risks when booking headline slots with more breaking artists rather than the usual boring "superstars"

I was at the portishead set 1995 in the acoustic tent, I got split up from the rest of friends so hung about after to finish a couple of beers. Got ushered out of the tent as they were clearing it and went for a wander. Seen a group of around 20 people sitting on the grass and Evan Dando was there with his guitar playing a few of his own songs then threw in a couple of Oasis covers. Was one of my most memorable Glastonbury moments...
