Thanks! BD is on my 2024 list 🙂
Think that's campsite only?
In theory, but definitely not in practice.

Think they only sold about 11k tickets this year, and the most day tickets were sold for the Grace Jones day - which they had to refund everyone for.

Good evening! Can anyone tell me what the searching is like upon entry? I'd hate to think there's people having a really good, responsible time at APE, so I'm just checking if the security are doing their jobs properly...any dogs or huge body searches?
Tia
There were dogs at the Nick Cave gig last year, which seemed a bit like overkill...

There’s no Dub Pistols. Where are The Dub Pistols? Either a bump onto a bigger stage. Another stage that’s yet to announce. Or… not at all. Hope it’s not the latter.
They said on Twitter they were going to be playing, but not on The Glade this year. Not sure where's left for them to play that hasn't been announced yet...

I reckon Iggy Pop might be in with a shout. Playing in Ireland a couple of weeks before.

FORWARDS FESTIVAL
1-2 September 2023, Clifton Downs, Bristol
After its successful inaugural event in 2022, Forwards Festival is returning to Clifton Downs this year to once again harness the power of live events to bring people together for incredible music moments and to inspire positive change through social initiatives and a space for discussion and debate. For its inaugural event, Forwards saw the incredible Self Esteem, Little Simz, Charlie XCX take to the stage, with a phenomenal headline performance from The Chemical Brothers.

Lineup next month? Thought it was a pretty good event last year (apart from the sound towards the end of Jamie xx)

Have ended up buying 2 with the same registration and post code. Didn't think this was possible?
-
Could definitely see Jamie xx headlining one night of the festival.
Amyl & The Sniffers, The Comet is Coming, Los Bitchos also in with a shout from the Sziget lineup + Kelly Lee Owens/Mall Grab for after dark.

Pob lwc all.

They seriously need to get rid of Ticketline.

Do we refresh or leave these queues?

Everyone making out like the Glade was/is the hub of Glastonbury and a move 200 metres is going to change much. Let's wait to see what it's like and not get too wound up beforehand.
I suppose a lot of people are thinking how crap it was last time they tried moving the actual Glade Stage to basically the same location it will be in for 2022 and re-named it "The Spirit of 71 Stage". No vibes.

Wonder whether Woodsies campsite is open to the general public this year, it's in a darker shade of green but still has Hositality Camping on the map 🤔

Dice ticket holders … anyone received their AccessTicket email/sign up yet ??
Website has said for weeks they are coming.
I’m wondering if I can just get the App and get set up or do we need this invite link ? A bit wary of trying to set it up and getting in a mess and causing more hassle 😁
I think the festival are having a few problems with the AccessTicket judging by social media. Wouldn't surprise me if this is causing the delay. Honestly a very pointless system imo.

Who do we reckon are the Thursday headliners? Beach House?
I know Metronomy sort of topped the bill a few years ago, not sure if they're bigger or smaller since then..

Where's good for a drink around Heaton Park? Only ever been there for the Stone Roses in 2012, where we just bought crates from the supermarket. Or is that the best option in general? Weather looks a bit crap, so would rather stay dry as long as possible.

Wondering if anyone who was at the game saw any of the scenes of violence in the concourses/fans trying to jump the turnstiles?
It looked pretty mental from the videos I've seen, but not sure if Twitter is a fair reflection of what was actually going on.

Thought Wales looked great yesterday, be interesting to see how they fare against Italy though (and equally how Italy fare against a team that presumably won't roll over for them).
I imagine we will make a few changes for the game on Sunday, as we already have a few players with a booking hanging over their head, and Page started the same XI two games on the bounce.
Hopefully we will go out there and treat the game as an almost free shot, and attack Italy. We look much better when we are on the front foot and I don't think anybody has really had a go at Italy's older defenders yet. Dan James masterclass pending.....

Is that a guess on the UK tour? Or have you seen it somewhere?
The Europe and UK legs were part of the same cancelled tour last year so would have thought added on just before or after?
Purely guess work on my part. But a good Glastonbury performance on the BBC would no doubt help shift tickets if he wants to go for arenas again.

Depends who you are, and what stage(s) you are playing I guess?
I'm not familiar with the artist/band in question, but if they played any of the stages outside the big 7/8 it's probably likely that they received x amount of tickets per band member x gigs played on site.I know this is partly why Fontaines DC played about 5 gigs at the last festival, because they wanted the extra tickets for friends and family to come with them for the weekend.

It used to happen years ago. I think: Dizzee Rascal, Franz Ferdinand, The Dead Weather, and Biffy Clyro all ended up with good Pyramid/Other Stage slots after playing The Park.
It stopped happening when they stopped the secret slots on The Park for however many years. Foals got a good slot after playing The Park in 2019 though...
