Are you expecting this year's Pyramid decoration to be a pair of boobs?
Not too late to contact Joe Rush and request a giant set of cast iron norks to top El Pointo.

I have not seen ANY free wood at Glastonbury since 2005!
Damned shame. They need to start selling it again.
As Incident says, it's there for free.

Why would they play for free?
Reputation laundering. Getting back in people's good graces.

On any given year you can find wrong 'uns on the bill.

I dunno. If they offer up a secret set on a smaller stage playing Funeral would the festival really turn it down? Getting a freebie from a former headliner - albeit with a tarnished rep - is a way of shoring up a weaker line up.

That is the audience that those stages attract.

Was there ever confirmation the riff was nicked by The Sweet? I seem to remember Blockbuster came out before Jean Genie? At the time, it was assumed The Sweet stole it off Bowie. And, like everything, neither was completely original but it was odd they both came out within a short time of each other.
I doubt anyone wanted to get into a mud-slinging match over it given its obviously very 'inspired' by Bo Diddley and Muddy Waters, e.g

It's Blockbuster that sounds like The Jean Genie.
But then it's not like it's Bowie's riff....

Should be a fun Friday night

Jungle replay just started on the Outdoor Theatre.

OK. I'm down with Avalon or somewhere getting on the dog'n'bone to Andy Scott for an afternoon Sweet-fest.
Chinnichap tunes are low key goated when glam rock is the vibe.

That review's still baffling, mind - talking about how Lana peaked in the mid 2010s and that she's an "icon for the dour and terminally online"

Its Ocean Colour Scene and its acoustic

Actually, re-reading the review it's some petty bullshit
-
Yeah - I don't think it was as bad as that review makes out, but it wasn't a dab up.
The middle section when her mike started working was great. Billana sounded fantastic.

My entire team are super-hyped for Justice again and fair play, but I'm definitely seeing the attraction of SZA. Don't want to end the weekend on a solo mission but equally SZA is a bit of a special talent, and it could well end up being a You Should Have Been There sort of show.

Justice were good but as an attendee of the 2017 set it was hella similar.
