Yeah, it makes sense to me. They start at the beginning of the PPV and then you can cut in scenes between matches. They may as well make full use of the editing rather than just followIng guys on the stairs. Not having Jeff Hardy in this is disappointing, he’s done the cinematic match thing before and I really want to see him swanton off the roof.

Has anybody been watching Dark Side Of The Ring? Episodes like the Montreal Screwjob job are skippable as its been talked about to death but the others are really interesting, particularly the Benoit and Schultz episodes. It’s also amazing how Cornette comes off as sensible in these until he talks about wanting to murder Vince Russo.
  3. That sucks but expected. There was something interesting in the FAQ bit of the statement and it seems they might be doing a virtual event over the weekend it was meant to be on.
  4. For some reason The Financial Times has posted a front page article about the interest rates in Animal Crossing.

Smackdown was shit but I did like the bit were Triple H was doing his water spit entrance and a crew member came out to take his water away before he could complete it due to the coronavirus.
  6. There's gonna be an one off special of Parks & Recs to raise money for charity The poor first season aside it was one of my favourite shows.

I was assuming all the matches will be on the roof but only the MITB starts on the ground floor.
  8. I would of thought it be a centre piece at (the now cancelled) E3 with a holiday 2020 release to combat the new PS/Xbox but it's hard to say with the virus stuff going on. I hope they bring back the old styles dungeons, the shrines are fine but no where as memorable.

I wanna see Jeff Hardy Swantoning off the roof!

I actually like the sound of this. I'm imagining it is gonna be a cross between the boneyard match, Die Hard and a normal MITB match.
  11. Most festivals don't actually get the money till the fest has started, the tix sales money is kept hold of by the tix agency but they use tix sales as kpi so if they get more sales by have a smaller payment plan it works in their favour still.

I've just realised English was released along with Rusev, I'm wondering now what their indy non-wwe trademark name would be as I can't think of anything that can replaced with Rusev to make the Rusev Day chant work.

Nah she wasn't released but she's happy at WWE and they seem to want to push her more than him. I found it odd they didn't release any bigger names, as the likes of Dolph Ziggler (who I actually rate), Nakamura or Bobby Lashley must have been on bigger contracts but are never gonna be convincing main eventers and aren't doing much as mid-carders.

Backstage staff have been furloughed apparently so they might be back. Apart from Kurt Angel maybe as he was mentioned in the performers name released even though he’s technically retired. AEW desperately needs to recruit for their women’s division imo but it seems WWE aren’t letting any of their better women wrestlers go.

The funny things is WWE has been talking for the last month about how they have the TV deals and cash reserves to not need to lay anyone off, also (not joking) Vince has even been appointed by Trump to be part of a team leading the American economy recovery. Mad times. It's shit for the roster as they have been hoarding loads of wrestlers in the fear of AEW might grab them and with their roster now full and going through the same thing there's no else for them to turn. Rockstar Spud is a shame as he could of been a great midcard comedy act.

It looks like it's Big Show. I reckon they may go with AJ, Drew runs through Luke and Karl first to draw things out. He's not built up enough but I'd like to see Angel Garza in a few main events.

I watched Doctor Sleep (basically The Shining 2) last night and I really liked it. Visually it was really cool which seems to be lost art with most films but the guy they got in for Jack Nicholson looked nothing like him.

Yeah, even without crowds and the big entrances this was probably one of the better ‘manias in recent years. I think the emphasis on more thrash talking in the ring really helped with some of the matches.

Orton is taking over the mantle from Triple H for too fucking long 'mania matches. I loved the Otis vs Ziggler and Cena vs Wyatt matches. Also we have the first British WWE champion.
  20. Cheers. I'm more upset about not getting this job because it means I'm stuck working for a company I can't stand till this virus stuff is over in a few months rather than not working for a record label. Still I should be grateful I have a job at the moment.

Bike 'taker was good to see again, especially as he seemed more like the nasty hardcore champ 'taker. I was a bit disappointed he has Metallica instead of Limp Bizkit for his music now though. I don't get the druids though, have they turned on him since he's no longer the Deadman version?

I've always found Cornette too much of a c**t to be taken seriously. I go through phases of listening to the Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff and Chris Jericho podcasts. The Bruce and Bischoff ones are good as it's more of an examination and backstage titbits of what was happening at the time and Jericho is very dependant on the guest as sometimes it's shit and other time it's great. Jericho recently had Brodie Lee/Luke Harper on and it's similar to the Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose tell all but not quite as ferocious.
  24. Yeah, Ganon is too easy. I regret waiting til I had done all of the Devine Beasts to fight him as they weaken him too much. I actually find Molduga tougher to beat.
