  1. Plus it was an Amazon film. I've still yet to see a great (Non-Pixar) blockbuster film go straight to streaming without a cinema release even in covid times.
  2. It's out every Monday night on E4 or you can watch anytime on the All 4 app.
  3. Parks and Recs would be first choice. Keep in mind the first season is a bit rough but when it gets going it's great, it's nice to have a sitcom that was more optimistic about work/politics.
  4. That sucks! It never seemed likely to cancelled as it was devised with covid in mind and the restrictions have been lifted, I wonder what happened. Statement below; "We are truly sorry to have to say this again, but we have had to make the incredibly hard decision to cancel Boom Village. These past few days we have been back in the excruciating position of weighing up every possible scenario to see how we might be able to proceed. There is so much excitement out there for us to come together and host this beautiful festival but sadly the risks of holding the event now outweigh all the wonderful reasons for going ahead. The core decision is due to the escalating cases of COVID-19 across the country, and the risks that widespread illness and self-isolation could have on our crew and contractors, which would result in us not having enough people to build and deliver the show to the high public safety standards we uphold. When we first came up with the concept of Boom Village we were so excited by the idea of a smaller show where we could trial new sustainable ideas. This was incredibly energising and we leapt into the project of bringing our much-loved festival community back together in a whole new way; with an intimate, locally focused and family-friendly event that put its ethos front and centre. We had devised a concept that could have worked in the current climate, despite all the existing issues such as a lack of insurance etc... We were navigating our way through those obstacles, but with the timelines being pushed back, the changes we’ve seen to policy and the national escalation in cases, the odds now feel stacked against us and we are no longer in a position to be able to proceed. We appreciate that this decision may be confusing in light of the latest Government announcement relaxing most of the COVID legislation from Monday 19th July. In that announcement it was also stated that the responsibility and ‘common sense’ now lies with the individual or organisation; that is a responsibility we take very seriously. The circumstances we’ve outlined above severely affect our ability to deliver a show where we could guarantee high levels of safety for all in attendance, as there are so many factors outside of our control. Whilst cancellation may not be the case for all festivals and we truly hope that many will still be able to continue this summer, as a fully independent festival with a small but highly skilled team and a close-knit extended crew, the rise in cases and isolation pose a real threat that we simply cannot ignore. Unfortunately, we have to accept this and make the best decision for all involved and in attendance, as well as the future of the festival. We are truly devastated to not be able to bring Boom Village to you this summer, but now that we’ve dreamed this amazing concept into reality, we hope it will return for you all at some point in the future when the time is right. All ticket holders have been contacted directly via email about their automatic refunds - get in touch with boomvillage@boomtownfair.co.uk if you haven't had yours. After much excitement and support from so many, and a huge amount of work from the team, it’s heartbreaking to deliver this message, again. But we are truly grateful for all who have supported us throughout these past 18 months of uncertainty. We will refocus back onto Boomtown 2022 and work towards what will be the most epic celebration next August. Thank you as always for being on this journey with us, we really couldn’t do this without you. Big love, Boomtown HQ. xxx"
  5. Yeah, they are very concerned with paradoxes until the end of the film which is just a big paradox. Just the idea is stupid, the future is losing a war so they go back to the past to recruit untrained middled aged cannon fodder to defeat the aliens.
  6. The code is stickysticky if anyone is after tixs.
  7. Let me know your thoughts on the episode as I want to see if it's just me and I'm actually too mature and sophisticated for the show. lol
  8. The new Rick and Morty episode was shockingly bad, it's like they focussed on the dumb gross humour without the sci-fi concepts and nihilist philosophy which I enjoy from the show. It's been a really good season so far so that episode is really standing out as poor.
  9. Yeah, they come off as bit of a twat by saying trains have doors on them so it's well ventilated. I can't wait for rush hour with people rammed in asking for the door to be left open when its going at 100 mph.
  10. It's due to the guitarist quitting but they are have only pulled out of Bloodstock and are still playing Slam Dunk.

We just need to work on a name now, how about "So Die Die Miss American Pie"?

I can actually see the poster for that movie, the big scary knife used by the slasher is cutting into a pie.

I saw that last year, it's better than it has the right to be. It's basically Freaky Friday meets horror slasher and the director also made Happy Death Day which was Groundhog Day meets horror slasher so he's probably gonna knock out some more of these horror films spliced with a comedy film which I'm actually looking forward to. Four Weddings And A Funeral with a horror twist, Dude Where's My Car with a horror twist, Bridget Jones's Diary with a horror twist, Dora The Explorer with a horror twist etc 😜
  14. The Community Shield is a proper thing but no one takes that seriously.
  15. Rogerio Ceni and Hans Jorg Butt come to mind, they use to take penalties during normal time. Henderson missed that penalty against Romania back in June, that may have been the reason he went off.
  16. I don't think people would take it seriously and it's not really about the experience of kicking the ball into the net, it's about the pressure of having to do it which this probably wouldn't replicate.
  17. Honest question, when did it become okay to like Limp Bizkit? I never really cared for them at their peak or their comeback besides the odd song which I thought was dumb but fun, however the last few years people have started actually liking them without the irony. Me and some mates saw them at the co-headline Wembley show with KoRn and I was the only one in the group who viewed it as a KoRn show with Limp Bizkit supporting with the others very eager to see Limp Bizkit.
  18. I'm not keen on the idea of the pub for England footie myself, it's like New Years Eve where it's full of amateurs who can't handle their drink made worse by so many people being out of drinking practice.
  19. Just make it clear there's spoilers in the post and it will be fine imo. That Simpson's Loki short was rubbish, the other recent shorts were okay but this just seemed like a waste of Tom Hiddleston's time.
  20. The guy just never stops. I saw him at Download and I've got tixs for Lost Evenings too but I could be tempted seeing him in Clapham Grand with Beans On Toast.

The Tomorrow War is a load of shit. I was expecting something like Edge of Tomorrow or Oblivion that uses the premise better but instead I just kept thinking to myself why would a load of middle aged cannon fodder be needed to fight a war in the future rather than sending tech, battle data etc to the past to help prepare for the invasion instead.
  23. Good luck to myself and everyone else trying later!
  24. Its a joke, Wembley is the neutral stadium which happens to be at home for England.
