  1. Think everyone had the same idea, get down early and get a good spot during The Selector for Lewis Capaldi who was up next. It was certainly my plan.
  2. Lewis Capaldi wasn't due to play this year. It wasn't until Snow Patrol pulled out due to ill health a month ago that he was added to the line up, I'm sure tickets for the Sunday were sold out within a day or two of him being announced as a replacement. I think the original plan would have been for him to not play this year, do his Summer Sessions, Academy and Hydro shows later this year then return to TRNSMT 2020. Wouldn't be surprised if he headlined next year tbh. You could potentially add Snow Patrol in the mix for playing next year with having to pull out this year.
  3. Thank god I booked MadCool back in January and didn't hold off for that line up. Think the Saturday is the only day that appeals to me personally. Be interesting to see what Electric Fields announce later this week.
  4. He has just announced two shows this morning for Glasgow and Edinburgh in December so I wouldn't expect him to be announced today. He's played the last two years so may hold off until he has an album released.
  5. Tom Walker self confirmed for TRNSMT according to Twitter/the forum. The Twilight Sad's manager had posted on the fans group on Facebook that supporting The Cure would be the only festival several months ago.
  6. Snow Patrol have self confirmed for TRNSMT at their show at the Hydro tonight.
  7. Royal Blood announced as a UK festival exclusive for Reading & Leeds, though sure they pulled this previously and then some was announced for TITP/TRNSMT. I noticed Summer Sessions Edinburgh posted on Facebook to sign up to the mailing list and watch this space. Can we expect Summer Session announcement before a TRNSMT announcement? They have the dates up as 7th to 18th of Aug.
  8. Just announced two shows in Scotland on the 6th and 7th of Aug so would mean 5 shows in 5 days if they were booked for the 9th.
  9. Lets not forget that Paul Weller came off the stage halfway through his set prior to KOL stage time.
  10. Would imagine this rules out The National and Suede from Electric Fields.
  11. Kelvingrove Band Stand have just announced the line up so rules out The National from playing.
  12. I see Electric Fields are moving their festival slot to the 4th to 6th of July, be interesting to see who they book.
  13. I believe DF have put offers out to The Cure previously about doing gigs/festivals in Scotland however they have never taken up those offers. On a side note, I noticed the date has changed from the usual T/TRNSMT slot of first weekend in July to the 2nd weekend for next year. Interesting to see how that develops as those weekends this year have MadCool, Nos Alive and BBK among other festivals on this year.
  14. They announced Editors and The National for TW Classic on the 14th of July. Would love to see both bands added to the line up for TRNSMT.
  15. Can rule out The Prodigy playing, they are a UK Exclusive at Victorious Festival this year.
