  1. We were due to work this weekend, there was a meeting for all volunteers last night but we couldn't go due to work commitments, I wonder if they were told then.

We had to pay £97.50 by cheque, we have contacted the bank and they have put a stop on the cheques, all we have to do is get our parking pass money back from Paypal.

Gutted as we had organised sitters, sorted all the camping kit, food & booze and booked holiday at work.

    What to do now?

p.s. this is the second time this has happened to us, I think we will stick to attending and not working at festivals....

  2. The following will/mite be attending:

    chownsy - Chris!

    Lauz_Abbot - Laura!

    AndyIOW - Andy!

    rfs - Robyn

brighteyes - Paul and possibly his shy mate!

    Magic 42 - Paul No2!

Heddwch - no name but knows Lauz!

The Beard - Chris No 2!

Endoftheroad - THE MAN! Very Welcome!

Marioman - No name but fine taste in music!

    McShug - Helen & Hugh

I think we should also persuade Sadwitch to join us.

  3. Ok so everybody now thinks the toilets were great,

why have you already acknowledged that there was a problem.

You used one toilet once, how often do you go into the female loos?, or use the cubicles? -

    rather than the urinals??

These faults were there at the begining of the festival nothing to do with morons

and they were still there this morning 3 days later.

Before this turns into a slanging match,

I will add my final comment

This morning the toilets still did not lock, were missing toilet seats - I didn't check up on the one that wasn't flushing

due to the towel some one had put over the pan (probably to cover the sight or the stench or both)

The sink still didn't work as there was no water to it - - I could go on and on but I can't be bothered.

I am not a festival virgin either and I accept that flushing toilets are pretty unusual at festivals, but if you are going to provide them make sure they are in an acceptable condition before letting the general paying public loose on them

  5. Just arrived back after the weekend, was really disgusted at the state of the toilet facilities.

We had been told by friends who had been in previous years that they were the best of any festival, that they had been to.

We were over in the campsite by the Unison tent/ H Exit.

The toilets here were completely inadequate, the ladies block had cubicles with doors missing when we arrived Fri morning,

they weren't cleaned until 10.30am on the Sat morning.

There just wasn't enough loos, the were in a poor state to begin with and suffered badly from over use.

There needed to be at least double the amount of loos offered on site.

All in all we had a good time - saw some fantastic bands but we won't be going back next year
