  1. I mean I'm not thrilled with that idea but i can live with it at a push.... Its the talk of opening up the sides of tents or masking up while watching bands that raises my hackles. Makes me nervous there's gonna be lots of "excuse me, you're standing too close to me" bobbins going on. I suspect in reality tho it will be like all the test events... A huge free for all and everyone celebrating their liberation
  2. As will the vast majority I suspect pal.
  3. And? Anyone who wants to be will be double jabbed by then, presumably there won't be many 80 year olds in attendance? Anyone with a pre existing condition that makes them more vulnerable will presumably still be giving stuff like this a swerve for now? If ya don't feel comfortable going then don't go... Personally I'm looking forward to putting this madness behind me..... and werritting behind a mask and avoiding enclosed tents aint a part of that plan.
  4. Hopefully it's just a vocal minority and the festival isn't gonna be overrun with bedwetters. Ludicrous levels of fear here
  5. Showers are really good, individual cubicles, plenty of hot water and nice and clean. About 20 odd I'd guess so queues of a morning are ridiculous. I've no patience for queuing personally so end up having them at all sorts of stupid hours when ya can walk straight in.
  6. Scalping would be fun late night big top
  7. Some aussies hopefully... Tropical Fuck Storm Amyl The Chats Spike Fuck The Goon Sax Id take any of them. Wouldn't mind seeing DIIV make an appearance. Was hoping Destroyer would show up again aswell.
  8. Yeah would have thought so. Caught her first uk gig in front of about a dozen punters at Gullivers in Manc, she's come a long way since then... quite the transformation
  9. Some of my favourite moments of EOTR are the first couple of slots on the garden stage on the saturday and Sunday early afternoon.... Anyone got any guesses as to who might fill those slots from the names so far? That Andy Shauf album is a real grower and would fit the moment but his name probably a bit too high on the bill
  10. Tropical Fuck Storm over for Green Man then, be surprised if they dont appear in the next announcement
  11. I'm liking 'Just Mustard'....shoegazey, big dollop of Slowdive, bits of MBV, Spacemen3 . Shite name mind
  12. Why what has he done? Haven't followed them at all but thought they were great in the Tipi last time. Is Evan the singer? Seemed a nice chap
  13. Meh i think the thursday slot is a great slot tbh.
  14. I think they will. The Shins, Slowdive, Yo La Tengo, Spiritualized... Pixies definitely fit the formula...
  15. Real Estate, bright eyes, destroyer would all be welcome returns Tindersticks haven't played for a while have they? Garden subs again? No idea on the headliners although Angel would seem an obvious pick if they can get her. A few I'd love to see... Tropical Fuck Storm Withered Hand Spike Fuck
  16. Was mine too for most of the year... Although some decent competition released last few months... Murder capital, Blanck Mass, Purple Mountains etc.
  17. How did Ohtis go down? Decent crowd? Missed EOTR this year but just seen Ohtis in the back room of a pub in Manchester in front of literally 23 people. They were great but felt bad for em man, fucking love the album, deserved a big audience.
  18. Aye camping space is never a problem. Loads arrive on friday morning usually. There's nothing quite like sipping a coffee outside ya tent and nursing the first gentle hangover of the weekend, watching the latecomers haul their stuff up the hill on a sunny eotr friday morning. All that great music to come. Noy going this year and absolutely gutted tbh ?
  19. Black Country, New Road are unmissable imo
