Hello - lucky you getting tickets. We tried and failed. taxi return was easy. We’d been in touch with driver via text and they were reliable. Only thing to mention is that taxis can’t come all the way into site. You have to get bus to pickup area. But it was good - would recommend.

I have a spare one that anyone can have for free. I only ask for a case of beer in return. I’m now flying from scotland so would happily swap my car park ticket if somebody can bring me in some beer. We are limited in what we can take as now flying. Time is precious though - pls let me know and I’ll stick the car park ticket in 1st class post.

Just to say - after a bit of confusion on days - we do actually have space in a booked taxi to/from festival. We arrive in Bristol airport on wed @ 10am and leave Monday afternoon. Happy to share.

Thanks all. Really appreciate all the replies. Now getting a bit more organised. Flights and taxis booked - and have arranged to share with @Johndenis - we got 6 seater for £68; between 4 of us. Starting to get a bit excited now...

Thanks both - the attraction of the flights is the reduced hassle and time. We would need 2 rucksacks and that does bump the prices up. The coaches take a long time and are not at great times any more. I’m still undecided. Does anybody have any thoughts/tips on getting to/from airport and festival?

Hi all, this will be my first Glastonbury- going with my teenage son. Not at all organised. We are travelling from Glasgow. original plan was to drive there and back. Initially was going to drive part way on Tuesday night. Stay in cheap hotel in Manchester and drive again on Wednesday am. Have now had to bin that as am working until later on Tuesday night. So options are to do full drive on Wednesday and back Monday, or flip to flying. am seriously tempted by flight options as costs and times look reasonable (to Bristol). Can get in about 10 in morning and return late afternoon on Monday. Would then presumably taxi to/from site. Does anybody have any tips on taxis, flights or potentially even want to share taxis? Open to ideas if any of this is daft. thanks, stuart
