  1. Ah FFS. I just assumed they always used links with charities and local bodies etc to give back to sick/disadvantaged kids. But charging (and a pretty penny in some instances) just makes it a benefit for the privileged. Its a bit scummy.
  2. Surely a club like Utd would not think like that with the cash they have in their pockets? If he is the problem at the club then it should be worth every penny to get rid? Id say if the hierarchy at Utd believe Moany is the problem then they are probably lineing up the replacement as we speak and will give Jose the P45 as soon as they can
  3. This is the part they will be most unhappy about as so far this season they have got away with this “problem” until now. They need to be more clinical if they are going to be a serious serious threat to the trophies and so far even though they have won their 7 previous they have left a lot on the pitch in way of scuppered chances
  4. Harry Wilson's free kick was a smasher. Fair play to him
  5. 2014 was an interesting enough run in no?
  6. Don’t know how this City team has dropped points.... relentless! Without doubt the team to beat. Missing one of their best players and you wouldn’t notice...
  7. Salah needs to learn to adapt his game with the attention he is now going to get due to making himself a superstar last year. I dont know if rest is what he needs. I dont pretend to know how his mind works, but he may simply want to keep going until it clicks again for him. If he is getting the majority of the attention then the others on the team should have a better chance to succeed. If he is mindful of that and that in fact materializes he should be OK with not banging in goals every single game, so long as the team are doing OK and his contribution is, in effect, making a difference. I dont think a selfish, self centered mindset will last too long in Klopps squad, no matter the talent.
  8. I believe he was celebrating the goal before the camera went to Klopp and then he threw the bottle on the ground in that manner most likely out of relieved frustration with himself and the situation. I think............
  9. It was obvious PSG were afraid to go for it. They were poor because they feared the break. Their number one priority was to try continuously take the sting out of Liverpool approach. With their front three there is a certain madness to that....however it nearly worked for em with the Pool not putting it to bed when they should have.
  10. Could watch that Firmino goal all day. Great turn...
  11. Some match at Anfield. Lucky in the end. Liverpool need to grow sharper teeth
  12. If it was proper/obvious pink (Say like what Stade Francais do) Id probably think "fair enough, whatever floats yer boat" and makes ye a buck or two more, go for it, but it is such an odd colour to look at. Its like an off white with a hint of pink and with the white shorts I found it really strange to look at. At first it kinda felt like it was a white jersey that went slightly pink as the players warmed up and sweated in them, kinda like the opposite of that brilliant white paint that you can get which goes on pink and drys to a white........
  13. BTW whats the story with that Utd away kit? Oddest looking strip I have seen in a while..........😵
  14. ha ha ”back” to winning valuable points for Utd. Massive win really. Keeps Utd relevant at/near the top and releases pressure Jose could have come a cropper parking the aul bus in the second half but....
  15. Who would of thought that Watford V Man Utd would be such an intriguing prospect this early in the season?
  16. Im in no way saying it was his fault. De Gea does have a record of moping up after others mistakes and impressing folk in the process. When he is on top top form he saves penos and cuts out crosses that others mistakes allowed to get in there.
  17. He may have saved the peno and we would all be saying how great he is (not that Im saying he should have) and with the first Brighton goal he may have had a better starting position to get to the ball before the striker, cutting out the danger. Again Im not saying he should have and im not saying it was an error, but when someone like him is on top form he does things like that and we are all impressed..........

What a game that Bears Packers game turned out to be. Rodgers being carted off injured and everyone thinking "Oh no, not again!!" - The Bears going 20 point up in Green Bay - Mack being an ultimate beast!! - Rodgers coming back into the game and doing what only he does be with a 4th quarter comeback and taking the win...........Unbelievable Geoff! Great to see the NFL back............what a sport!
  19. Utd, Chealski and Spuds all in the next 5 games and the other 2 are no gimmie away games too..........

Have not read this thread since September 2017. Hit the "go to first unread post" button to be brought to @A-Rob 's second last post and my heart sank! I got chills and felt sick. I had, for just a split second, thought that Rodgers, only just after signing his extension, goes and gets a season ending injury!! Im still no over it................ Phew! Cant wait for this season to get going. Pack start with the Bears on SNF. Probably the best time for the Bears to play em. As always Ill be hoping Rodgers has a magic season to get the second ring he fully deserves, but will the supporting actors step up to the plate? AR with functioning TEs could be scary........If not it will be "Anyone but Brady" as per...........
  21. Thats a whole load of "whatifry" right there......... What if the 2017/18s Man Utd traveled back in time and won the league in 2015/16?? WTF? Stop........Utd were not good enough in 2016 (along with 18 other teams), not good enough last year (along with 18 other teams) and are not looking so hot this year thus far.
  22. If a team wins a title without a core of 4/5 top performing players in that given season then that team IMO is an exception to the rule. You would be hard pressed to find many league winning teams/squads that did not possess such. Yes, luck plays a big part in winning things, no doubt, but you also have to take advantage of that luck when it comes your way.
  23. They didn’t do just as well. They did not win the league. An equivilent points tally in a totally different season does not equate to an equivalent performance.
  24. What’s that got to do with anything?
