  1. Someone posted on here something about it a few weeks ago though no idea what topic it is under! I guess we will find out more in the next 48 hours!
  2. This will be my plan of action. I would never go to an Elton John gig, however appreciate his music, though QoTSA are one of my favourite bands. Tough clash. Royal Blood v Fred Again v Young Fathers v special guest on John Peel stage is tough too
  3. Angus Young joins Guns n Roses for Whole Lotta Rosie. Iggy joins them for I Wanna be Your Dog
  4. They are fantastic live, I'm watching them in Manchester on Wednesday 21 June ,then setting off for Glastonbury early on the day after.
  5. Shhhh don't tell everyone this 😉 Ive done this for years without any issues. For Paul McCartney I left after 30 mins, went to watch Jamie T, ran back, headed down the left hand side and caught the final 15-20 mins!
  6. Once you have collected your wristbands from the accessible tent you can either get a bus into the site which would take you to Spring Ground camping site (though usually a wait) or you can make your own way and enter via pedestrian gate A. Your friends can go in via gate A too and you can meet them on the other side of the entrance once they have collected their wristbands.
  7. I've never camped in any of those, however have you checked out this: https://www.glastoearth.com/p/torts-faq-part-3.html?m=1
  8. Hi Kirstyn, If you are arriving in two cars, whoever is in the car with accessible badge can enter with you, however only the people who are registered for access will pick up wristbands and lanyards from the accessible tent which is near the yellow car park. The rest of the people would pick up wristbands at one of the main gates. We have a similar situation 6 of us in two cars. We put all the heavy stuff in my car on the accessible parking, take our tents, find a space, get set up, then most of us go back to the car in yellow accessible car park to pick the heavy stuff/ alcohol etc. There are lots of camping nearby Spring Ground that is also suitable for access needs. There is nothing stopping any of your party going back to your car throughout the festival, for example if you wanted to take some things back to the car on the Sunday to make Monday morning easier and pile as much as you can in the car you are traveling in. Please feel free to ask more questions! Chris
  9. Empire State Bastard yesssssssss!
  10. https://theglastothingy.com/thingy/ You would imagine it could happen on 31 May 2023, however it could happen just before or just after!
  11. Also it make much more sense if they have switched things around and have moved Fred Again to clash with Elton John as this would mean less people at the Pyramid Stage.
  12. They were pencilled in for the Other Stage headliner, however I guess this could happen if they don't want to clash with Elton John. Im sure many people on here (including myself) would be happy if things have changed and they are still playing in a different slot to what was originally planned.
  13. There is also a possibility of school strikes for those who are taking children to the festival, or having to work around childcare
  14. Good point. I tried to sell my ticket for Leeds last year after Rage pulled out and the going rate was about the same. My friend picked up a weekend ticket on the Friday for £100 and came down for Saturday and Sunday.
  15. Ive not checked in on the line up since the original announcement so did not realise how bad it was until now. I honestly cannot see many people paying £290 for this. I would imagine that Leeds weekend tickets will be selling for £120-130 on the week of the festival via Twickets.
  16. I'd argue the other way around, I've watched QoTSA about 15 times and this was the stand out performance. The band were up for it based on the clash and made that very clear during the set. I don't think anything will top that performance for me, and as much as I love the band, I'm not sure I can miss Elton John (even though I'm not a fan of his!)
  17. Really good size crowd considering who they were up against. Not the biggest of the day but much bigger than many other headliners on this stage.
  18. I haven't heard about this, however that would make sense to me. There was a rumour a few months ago on here that Spring Ground Accessible camp site was moving to where the Family camping currently is on Wicket Ground though i have spoken to the accessible team and they have confirmed this is not true and both camp sites remain where they are usually situated.
  19. I have received confirmation Wicket Ground family camping is staying where it usually is located, as is Spring Ground Accessible camping which will be in the same location as previous years.
  20. I saw her on Saturday after only know 2-3 songs and loved every moment of it. Amazing energetic performance. I've not seen a crowd into a gig for a long long time (probably going back to Oasis). I love Guns n Roses, however they are going to have to bring their A game, otherwise they are going to struggle to follow Lizzo.
  21. Exactly this, either back stage route on the way between stages of accessible toilets at the back of the left hand side platform.
  22. I would definitely recommend the area in front of the Water Aid stand. It's fairly close to the accessible back stage route too. Let me know if you have any other questions and fingers crossed you make it to the festival and have a good experience.
  23. Hi Neil, lots of room down the left hand side of the Pyramid (facing the screen and towards the front, near the big screen and level with the Wateraid tent) My wife has cerebral palsy and very accessible. No issues for McCartney and any other big crowd in the past 12 years. I left after 30 mins of Macca, went to watch Jamie T, and came back and got back to my wife for the last 3 songs from Macca!

  25. Ray Davies was fun too that day!
