I like the idea that presumably Mattel are compensating the Kubrick estate for their patody

That's a shame, I have great memories of seeing him on the Pyramid many years back

Ah, good point 😂

Ooh fair shout, Lucca is a lovely place, less that half an hour from Pisa which has plenty of UK flights. Before or after you could have a few days in Tuscany.

You're not tempted to mention "James Genchi" on their twitter feed?

I was definitely on the old place too, but have expunged most of it from my memory

Ha ha, either you're being sarcy or you're not very familiar with many of the old regs around this parish

Heard him on this and he was rather lovely https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001fb1v?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

Don't take it personally, usually it means you've connected via mobey and it's safe to say bans of their IP ranges are not delicate and precise

How often do people die going through an open door?

The government have made it a political point to score. They're convinced that this is a higher priority for them to address than the state of the NHS, schools and everything else. Second only to addressing the fuck up they made of the economy innit.

Now that's the sort of Glastonbury tracking that you get paid the big bucks for

Yes I had quite a phase too, went to Donington twice during their hey day (but didn't see them) and I only know a couple of those listed.

Of those 100m there were was it 160k in the UK? They were presumably mostly decades ago. I'm not disputing they have a fan base, but I am disputing the idea that they should get a headline slot when the majority of the audience don't know most of their tunes and are expected to go away and do their revision first 😊

Those 4 are all on the Thor Love and Thunder OST, indeed they were more prominent than any other music on it. That film has a colossal audience so that and other soundtrack use means there's a younger generation who've heard them. I dunno where anyone under thirty might have heard any Kiss tunes? I'd be happy with neither of them, but if they were there I'd just go to another stage and see something I prefer, no bother.

Wow for 188 quid I definitely want to be close enough to see my bottle of pee land

Ooh have been looking forward to Slow Horses season 2, also His Dark Materials which is back with season 3 next week. Have seen some great reviews for both.

I stayed at Sticklinch this year so it seemed a bit more practical to wander up there than recent years in the CV fields. It's certainly a lovely place to settle down for a bit.
