  1. Not the same obviously, but there's about half a dozen little shows on iplayer
  2. I've loved every single episode of Derry Girls for so many reasons - the writing, the cast, the soundtrack, the incredible way they mix challenging subjects with fantastic humour plus Sister Michael especially obviously. Currently rewatching the final episode which encompasses all of that as perfectly as any of them and brilliant that it brings that story to an audience across the UK and rest of the world.
  3. I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to a whole album, but thanks for your endeavours. Based on the tracks I've heard, I'm sure there's something to both delight and simultaneously disappoint most listeners 😉 A few days ago I'd have said I heard nowt from Beyonce's latest either, but I heard about half of Peaches' 6music show and she talked about it (commenting as I recall how rare it is that someone releases an album with no videos these days) and played a cracking track (thique).
  4. I enjoyed Christmas Carole as much as they suggested, it was on now/sky max https://amp.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2022/dec/24/christmas-carole-review-suranne-jones-is-pitch-perfect-in-this-instant-festive-classic
  5. Ghosts was lovely, very funny and they're great at mixing a little melancholy in with the humour, as did the Motherland special.
  6. Crikey that is bleak, not even any icing on the cake from being in a pub car park
  7. Oh I thought she was, great and I'm by no means a fan.
  8. You lightweights 😉 We stayed until Monday morning /afternoon in CV East and it was dry as I drove out. By contrast 9 years earlier I was wet for several days and once it was clear the Sunday would offer no improvement I couldn't face it.
  9. Yeah, we had queues but nothing that bad and we only had thirty miles to come, plus our journey out was pretty smooth. My comment was pretty literal - not many I'm aware of left that year, as compared to say 2007 which was damp and miserable but maybe less muddy
  10. But erm...most people did manage didn't they?
  11. "Of the new Conservative administration, Hoyle said: “I’m sure they’re gonna do a great job.” Pressed on whether a government that introduced austerity would do anything to mitigate the issue of food poverty, he said that the nation had to have faith that “the right people” had been voted in. He declined to state who he had voted for, but clarified that he had voted, and that it was important to do so." https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/dec/20/ladbaby-i-love-sausage-rolls-christmas-no-1-charity-food-banks And the scum reported on their wealth... https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/20851831/inside-secret-life-ladbaby/
  12. Dripping with irony... "Piers Morgan’s Twitter account abuses queen and Ed Sheeran in apparent hack" https://amp.theguardian.com/media/2022/dec/27/piers-morgan-twitter-account-hacked-say-reports
  13. So the years with more than one announcement by now were the more recent ones 🤔
  14. Hey I didn't mean to encourage you to do homework on a bank holiday 😊
