  2. We have been handed cards to put our questions on and they will be taken by member of staff before being read to the panel
  3. I might just go for it and say 'Can you tell us the exact time and date the line up is due out as there's about 300 people on efests forum losing the will to live at the moment'
  4. I think she might drop Dua Lipa if we are to get anything.

Whoevers phone that is probably shouldn't have screenshot their porn at the bottom! 😄
  6. I'll have you know I'll be wearing a shirt and smart jeans 😄
  7. My main concerns are. 1. Phone signal: The Sheldonian Theatre is over 500 years old. 2. Even if I have signal, being told to turn phones off completely. Will obviously try my very best, I'm going to it basically to hear Emily and if Q&A happens ask her about the line up, although I'm sure it will crop up anyway before that........
  8. I think I might go down that route.......thanks 🙂
  9. Thanks, I've got a week off at the end of March so will have a look then, we do a lot of two/three night breaks and now we have a dog I find with his basket etc the car fills up fast and with a week in Ireland and Glastonbury coming up that might solve the too many people in the car problem. 🙂
  10. I'm taking myself, the wife and the dog to Ireland for the week in early June in the car and a roof box might be a very good shout and I can then use it for Glastonbury. Do you have a recommendation?
  11. Yep, the car is also only 18 months old and I don't want it getting wrecked! 😄
  12. Can you hire them? That might sort the problem!
  13. I don't think we will have anything over 2 crates of lager or a trolley.
  14. live near oxford so about 2 hours with no traffic no trolleys, i think one or two will bring cans, but i've shifted to bringing cocktails these days, less bulk, less trips to the toilet and more punch!
  15. I have main rucksack (usually with tent inside or clipped on), carrier bag with boots, carrier bag with snacks, cocktails and ciders and my camping chair, other mate usually brings similar. Guess it depends on how light the other two pack.
  16. Yeh....I think it might be a bit too much, I've taken three of us in my car before which fits fine because you end up folding down the other seat and using that too. That said me and one other are quite 'light' travellers as we do a lot of festivals....it would save a lot of cost in terms of fuel and car park ticket....but I don't want 2+ hours of people uncomfortable in my car!
  17. Bumping this....just speaking with who I'm going with this year about car park tickets. We've got four of us travelling together, trying to think if going in one car is achievable?.....my VW Golf hatchback is what's being suggested to drive down in (which is new enough that you can move the boot further down for more space) .... obviously we can all fit in it, but just wondering if four people + kit will overload the car a bit too much? Anyone got experience of being on the fence of 1 or 2 cars?

I have back issues as well, but I think they would get worse lugging a chair around for half of the day!

I think since camping chairs have become increasingly popular to take over the last 20 or so years the problem has just got worse and worse, personally I leave mine at the campsite but lots of people are happy to take them out and then set up at the Pyramid for the day, for the early acts its usually fine but when big headliners come on it becomes an issue. In my earlier years of festivalling people used to either stand or sit on the ground (and not play on their phones...actually chat to each other!)

Or the ones who run in from the rain and stand with their back to the act looking to see when they can go back out again.
