On Vodafone and I genuinely think there were only about 2 spots on the whole site where I could reliably get mobile data. Even SMS and cellular calling was a no-go most places. Was a nightmare to organise anything with people. Also the poor reception seemed to drain my battery way faster - is that a thing? Like it was if my poor phone was scrambling about to find a signal and was being sucked dry in the process. On the Thursday I used my phone for less than half an hour of screen on time but I was on 10% by about 10pm. Usually on that with five hours of screen on time!

I'd happily add £30, probably even more, to my ticket if it meant the festival could provide an order of magnitude more showers and better toilet facilities. By Saturday I always feel absolutely disgusting and it definitely detracts from the final few days' experience for me. Alternatively add loads of new showers and make them pay to use. £10 with any profit going to charity.

I'm still continually amazed at the amount of people who forgo hearing protection at Glastonbury and live music in general. I was in the pit for a handful of loud performances and glancing around I saw fewer than 5% of people wearing earplugs. None of my group wore them either and by the Sunday I was becoming a bit hoarse from raising my voice so they could hear what I was saying. And this was back at camp where things were quiet. I myself have lost a good chunk of my upper frequencies from recklessness in my teenage years and early 20s when I would stand right up next to ear-splitting speaker systems for hours on end. I feel like there was a big cultural push in the mid-2010s to remove the 'uncool' stigma about earplugs and that's when I started getting serious about wearing them. I fully expected everyone to eventually get onboard but 2022 has shown this not to be the case. I also feel the organisers have a duty of care regarding this and I don't see why they can't handout free earplugs at the gate on entry or something. People have told me there are free ones being given around around the site but in both 2019 and 2022 I've been unable to find where this is? Additionally, I couldn't believe there were no vendors selling high-quality earplugs anywhere. Surely someone is missing a trick as I'd like to believe there would be enough demand. Anyway, rant over.

Definitely not due to the day as Nova Twins afterwards were proper loud. Maybe it was a time of day thing? Think Nova Twins were on after 9.

Pigs x7 on Truth were dead quiet and crowd weren't really into them. Energy of band was a bit off as well. Had to take my earplugs out as I couldn't hear or feel shit. Shame as I love their music but really disappointing live. Nova Twins afterwards were insanely good though and that made up for it.

Kendrick not busy on the ground, but crowd loving it. Other stage is absolutely packed for PSB, struggled to get through.

Audible booing for Bruce in the crowd on the ground. Guessing it can't be heard on broadcas?

Park for Wet Leg was insane. Route up ground down to total halt at times. Can't remember a Park set packed like this?

Does anyone know if there's anywhere that sells disposable vapes? I know that they're not good for the environment but all they're selling is shitty logic vapes. Going to start smoking again at this rate.

IF....if the worst case scenario happens, and there are thunderstorms tomorrow and on and off again showers Friday through Saturday...what will that realistically do to the ground? I've not brought my wellies 😞

Thought I might start a thread for people's quick questions about what they do and don't sell at Glastonbury. I've packed and headed off now but realised I've forgotten some key items, I'm sure others might be in the same boat. 🙂 Will I be able to buy: Individual tent pegs Grinders (for the morning coffee of course) KOMBUCHA Rope? NOT STRING OTC medicine beyond painkillers (laxatives etc.) Fresh fruit, mainly bananas I'm looking for. Straws Thank you in advance
