  1. 1. Paul McCartney 2. Suzanne Vega 3. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss I guess all three acts that have been huge for decades. The four/ five acts after that in my list would have pretty much all been acts that played in the Green Fields ironically. The Burning Glass, Jaz Delorean and Jamala all broad down the house where they played. Rachael Dadd was a favorite new discovery for me. I really enjoyed Jarv...Is as well (Jarvis Cocker).
  2. As mentioned in a previous post. A friend I was going with had to cancel due to illness unfortunately. Turns out National Express only allows for cancellation of both seats in that situation. And I had to keep mine (rip off refund policy..). Which means my ticket for the Monday coach from Glastonbury to Bristol Airport (10:00) is for two passengers. Let me know if anyone is interested in taking the other seat. Due to travel stuff I may not reply too quickly. I apologize in advance. I would prefer it if that person happens to be going alone as well, and would like to meet up some time during the festival. But that is not an obligation. I will just be happy to help out if you need the ticket. As long as my phone isn't dead by next Monday, I will make sure to check by then if anyone replied.
  3. Hi everyone, Also been lurking since a while. This message board is a good source for figuring out things regarding the festival. I am from the Netherlands, and will be going to Glasto this year for the second time. As my buddy had to cancel due to his back problems unfortunately, it turns out I am going alone this year. I figure it would be fun to meet other people going alone as well. Also, I am looking someone to share a taxi ride with I have booked:
  4. Hello everyone, Yesterday my mate told me he was not going to join me to go to Galstonbury with me, due to back problems. I have booked a one -way taxi ride from Bristol (Full Moon Backpackers hostel) to the Glastonbury Festival site for Wednesday june the 22nd 8am with a local taxi company in the Glastonbury region for £75. I am looking for someone to share the fee and the ride with. It would also be nice to meet someone who is going alone as well. But it is not a requirement to hang out with me at the festival of course. I went to Glastonbury with a taxi in 2019 as well, and the driver could drive straight to the gate, as local companies have special privileges to drive in the area (from what I understood). Not sure how it goes this time. Two extra people may be possible as well, but I would have to check with the driver with regards to if the baggage fits. I am just taking a (large) backpack, a few groceries and another smaller back pack.
