You don't need the e-ticket to get on the coach. In my 4/5 years I've had no ID checks or "ticket" checks. As long as he knows his coach number and time he can just jump on and they will call our his name or ask for his name as he boards. It's generally very casual. The only time i've seen checks was one year on the way back as everyone was trying to jump on random coaches.

Everyone an email saying that this morning... Some people very unlucky while others left on time. If it's a text maybe it's more specific to your coach.

Was there not talk of walking to Worthy View car park and getting a shuttle bus from there to Gate A? If that's an option I would recommend leaving bags in the carpark and then walking back through the site not carrying anything after collecting tickets to save time waiting for another bus.

My guess is that you show tickets at gate A and then barcode at Sticklinch. Otherwise it would be impossible to manage at gate a as too many people are coming through. This happens at worthy view where that gate is the only one with the WV wristbands.

No, that usually comes out a day or two before the festival. I assume they wait until all tents are up first maybe before they assign as configuration changes each year.

Yes, they swap them out so you can't keep two.

What about Adele as a warm up ahead of her Hyde Park gigs the following weekend? She has history with the festival....

For seeticket coaches in the past on the way back it was a free for all onto the coaches. They didn't even check if you had a ticket let alone you were on the right coach.
