There was some really great stuff there last year, just not enough of it. A lot of filler. There were multiple times when there was nothing we wanted to see on and what was on was all very similar. That shouldn't happen with four stages.

Well anything has to be better than last year's headliners surely. They could put on a dog that can say 'sausages' and give it a 45 min slot and it would literally be more entertaining than more than half of last year's headliners. 'Sausages'

Three acts nobody wanted to see replaced by three acts nobody wants to see. The wheel turns, the world is in balance.

I think if it was anyone that would have sold tickets they would have unofficially leaked it. My guess is either they still haven't found someone for that slot, or they do know and whoever it is is less of a draw than the prospect of a mystery act.

Swans are touring and have a big gap over EOTR. I'd forgive the weak lineup in a heartbeat if they made that booking.

Greenman much stronger. More varied, better acts all round. I think it's in a different league to EOTR which seems to be intent on relegating itself with tepid bookings.

Yeah. In my opinion, a good festival is a mix of older established acts, well-curated nobodies and a majority of good quality, fairly current bands that have proved themselves. This lineup is a mixture of has-beens and nobodies. I'm sure there are some gems among the nobodies, but there is a huge hole in the middle, and the established acts feel like barrel scraping to me.

Luckily you don't get to decide what other people think, and this is a very weak lineup for a festival of this size and pedigree.

Oh man. That would be unreal. One of the greatest live bands of all time. Definitely too much for the EOTR crowd though. I was delighted when they books PigsX7 and Part Chimp last year but nothing much like that on the lineup this year so far as I can see. People must have complained that they could have squeezed in some forgettable singer-songwriters instead.

What an underwhelming lineup. They really phoned it in this year. Last year had a lot of filler, but this year is a lot worse. Are they running out of money or clout? Or has someone else taken over booking acts?
