  1. I *might* have had damp eyes. Same as when I finally got through in the resale this year. It dictates the mood of a whole year.
  2. What a relief. Could have cried with happiness. Good luck everyone else still trying.
  3. I can confirm that this is absolutely horrific. The good news is that I don't think I'll need to turn the heating on this winter...
  4. Feels weird without "Will they be showing the football?"
  5. Don't let it put you off. It is manageable with some decent plugs and giving your ears a break in between the loudest sets.
  6. They were absolutely superb at the Truth Stage. The sense of sheer joy at being there just mirrored the sentiment in the crowd and made for something really special.
  7. I've suffered with tinnitus since I was around 18 and have relied on plugs ever since. I forgot them one morning which meant a disaster of a long-trek back to the campervan to get them. Seeing the number of people go without is genuinely frightening as there is no turning back the clock. It's perhaps a bit kill-joy, but it would be good to see the festival encourage people to think about it or at the very least sell some decent ones on site.

    Gate C

It was our first year in Campervan East and while I loved being closer to the action than West, I didn't enjoy the amount of additional queuing involved. That said, the Tuesday evening on the hill overlooking the site was really special and worth the pain.

    West holts

Caribou and Kikagaku Moyo. Both were absolutely epic!
  10. No, unless I catch Covid and am testing positive in the run-up/during the festival. I heard a few people discussing how they had tested positive but came anyway, which felt a bit unfair (and correlates with the number of infections people are reporting now).
  11. Four Tet Caribou Idles But so many missing from this list. Kikagaku Moyo, Amyl and the Sniffers, Kae Tempest...
  12. Also keep in mind that later in the festival (when everything is in full swing) you're less likely to want to waste time making trips to the car, so the earlier you bring it in the better.
  13. I've been having the same issue and after a few emails this morning have received confirmation of dispatch. Hope you all get yours soon too!

    The Park 2022

Awesome line-up. Hopefully Caribou on West Holts and no clash with Four Tet/CB.
  15. That's great info - thank you! Will be in East CV this year so it's a bit of a slog but worth it for a decent cup of coffee.
  16. My two most reliable places for coffee were the Beat Hotel (awful place but genuinely very good espresso-based drinks) and Camper Coffee. I know Beat Hotel has gone for this year so I'm hoping that Camper Coffee will be about!
  17. Hi everyone, Very long-time lurker and have finally signed-up and decided to stop being so shy. Have also joined as a gold member to say thank you for the moral support over the years. I finally managed to get tickets this morning and brought to an end a very stressful wait since 2019. I've been very fortunate not to have missed a Glasto since my first in 2004 and the thought of not going this year was unbearable. On the Sunday night in 2004 I was pretty broken - I'd lost all of my mates, was out of money and my phone was dead. I was hanging about near the big tree at the top of the Pyramid field when a lady turned to me and asked "are you on your own?". When I replied "yes", she gave me a four pack of beer, a place to sit and some Haribo. That kindness is what made me fall in love with the place and I'm absolutely over the moon to be heading back. Sam
  18. Congratulations to everyone that got in! I'm a looong time lurker and have always drawn on this forum for positive vibes before sales and re-sales. Having missed out on tickets in the 2019 sale, the 2+ year wait to get to this point has been pretty unbearable, but the hope in here has been a massive help. Thank you. I managed to get two tickets this morning and I'm sure someone nearby was cutting onions as my eyes were a little damp afterwards. See you at the Cider Bus.
