  1. Might it be a larger announcement tomorrow? Download is a week earlier and they had their big announcement last Monday
  2. Maybe Pantera could be the final North Stage headliner? Would need a strong main headliner though. I've got my fingers crossed for Metallica. I'd never pay the price to see them at a gig, but it would be one to tick off the bucket list for sure.
  3. I think the headliners so far are a good mix. I know Def Leppard are a fairly uninteresting pick and they play these festivals a lot, and Motley Crue are well past their best, but they'll still put on enjoyable sets. Ghost and (especially) Parkway Drive have earned their North Stage headliner positions and Slipknot was a blast in 2019. Who are the others going to be? Bring Me The Horizon, Metallica (???) and someone a smaller like Gojira?
  4. 🤞🤞 fingers crossed for Metallica Thursday/Friday at Graspop Wish I could go to Download but I have finals on the Friday 😞
  5. Are Metallica likely for Graspop then? In previous years people have said that they're too big for Graspop
  6. Motley Crue and Deff Leppard headline the Sunday
  7. NOT THAT I'M UPSET ABOUT THAT! BRING ON GMM 2023
  8. 4 days again? I thought it was only 3 next edition?
  9. If the weak headliner/strong sub rumour comes true then Parkway Drive would be a bloodstock headliner that could headline download (although they headlined Bloodstock a couple years ago). If you just mean this year, then I agree, Behemoth, LOG and Mercyful Fate couldn't headline Download.
  10. Festival ticket prices going through the roof :( I can't make Download next year anyway which is a shame because the (rumoured) line-up sounds like it's going to be great. I think the dual main stages like Graspop/Hellfest is a good idea, it feels so much better than having to move after every set at Download. I guess the price hike could be 'justified' if the Thursday lineup is awesome but it's still a load of money for most people to spend especially with only rumours to go on. Graspop was only €259 for the 4 day anniversary this year, although the line-up was much weaker than Metallica x2, BMTH, Slipknot etc.
  11. I remember seeing something about changes to the festival site/location. Where can I find details about this?
  12. Architects are doing arena tours now, at least in the UK. But looking at 2019, they were below Lynyrd Skynyrd and Within Temptation, so I doubt they'll be headline material this year. Maybe below Within Temptation like you said, I think that would be disappointing tho.
  13. Ghost are a Hellfest exclusive? 😢
  14. Who are you thinking then? Given Gojira being announced as replacing A7X at other festivals, I guess they're the most likely. But Idk I feel Graspop will want something better for the 25th anniversary (sort of, fuck Covid), surely?
