A couple of posters on here, including the guy who runs the place, have had "concrete" info from sources saying GnR are doing it. There's also Emily's unprompted bigging up of them and that mysterious spike in betting a while ago, which now pretty obviously looks like someone found out and lumped on. So yeah, it's more that unsubstantiated rumours.

I still think Reading will get them again before Glastonbury do. For all of Dave's nice words about GF Reading has always been their spiritual home in this country. Add to that Reading are far less bothered about repeat headliners and have pockets deep enough to make it happen. Wouldn't be shocked if Melvin is speaking to them right now about 24...

Can somebody explain WHY they would book the Foos so soon again? Can anyone offer a valid reason for bringing them back?

Kraftwerk have been headlining festivals for years, I saw them at Bestival about 15 years ago and they were ace. That’s not booking something different, that’s booking an act that are far too small to headline.

That said Ho Hey was the first dance song at my wedding. Mrs J’s choice, I wanted Something Changed by Pulp.

Lumineers are deceptively large, even over here. Nobody knows anyone who actually likes or listens to them but they still play decent sized venues in this country. Think they’re playing a few 10k+ places this summer and pretty sure they’ve played the O2 in the recent past.
