  1. We were in Wickett last year and loved it. Turned up around Thursday lunchtime and there was still plenty of room.
  2. I cannot believe that in the year of our Lord 2024 that the best Saturday night option at Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts this year is Ocean Colour Scene. Jesus f**king Christ!
  3. Yeah same, just do it so we don’t have to hear about it anymore.
  4. He just organises a massive Mexican wave and sneaks in whilst everyone is busy with that.
  5. I've heard about this old fella with a massive beard who just swans in and out like he owns the place.
  6. It's a long way to travel only to fail and be sat outside. For that reason I'm out.
  7. Yes, they give you a Coldplay album and send you on your way.
  8. Would Pulp headlining in 24/25 be any different to The Cure doing it in 19?
  9. Whether he "should" is another question, but if any other act was pulling the numbers he does they would be considered to certainty to do it at some point. FWIW I don't think he ever will either.
  10. Liam has headlined Reading/Leeds and played to hundreds of thousands at Knebworth in the last couple of years. You don't have to like him, but by any objective metric he's big enough to headline on his own.
  11. Their Finsbury Park show last year was an absolute barnstormer and could easily have cut it as a Pyramid headline set.
  12. Do they have the tunes and the chops to do it? Yes Would they be booked to headline? No
  13. After Little Simz I'm just going to put Kendrick's set on and make like it's 2022 again.
  14. Fontaines and The National would be two of mine for sure. Even with the graveyard that is Saturday night this year I still couldn’t bring myself to watch Coldplay.
  15. I mean, the clue is in the name….
  16. The Hitler reaction craze peaked when popular Birmingham indie club Snobs shut down…
  17. Yeah there should be “giving up due to lineup” and “giving up for other reasons”.
  18. TBF 2023 wasn't stellar either, take Elton out and it suffers a lot. For comparison the 2022 poster in terms of "drop everything to see" Kendrick, Macca, Diana Ross, Wet Leg, Little Simz, Lorde, Confidence Man, Sam Fender...
  19. From the first poster (which only had the half the names of this year's)? Elton, Lana, Lizzo Added later: Murder Capital, Churnups,
  20. Not sure there's a single "100% no matter what" act on there for me.
  21. My ticket is going back into the pot, but that has nothing to do with today and decided long before the lineup dropped.
  22. The Smile felt like an obvious omission.
