Yeah, I hope not. About the selling out thing quickly, Barcelona sold out immediately as well is my only concern. BUT you are absolutely right about the line up. It went from Tyler, Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa etc to Nick Cave, Interpol etc. Not really a rager. My favourite thing about Porto festival (and it's my favourite festival in the world) is how chilled out it is. Like families hanging out chilled out. Would be awful if they changed that. I have no idea what they are doing at Barcelona, it seems like a genuine mess.

Really hope Porto haven't oversold tickets like Barcelona (which appears to be overcrowded to the point of being out of control).

yeah, it's more just they NOW know they have a positive case because they need it to play a US festival today, which means they technically shouldn't get on a flight in a few days to Spain, even though they wouldn't have known if they hadn't had to do the test for the US festival. Honestly, I don't think America, in particular, has been proactive with their rules in the age of omicron. The fact Americans still need to show a negative test to enter back into the US is absolutely bizarre

You know what, I feel like Primavera is kind of suffering from US festivals needing covid tests to play. I really don't think that will be the case in Spain BUT I think a lot of asymptomatic positive cases will be picked up like that and that really has a knock on effect for a festival in another continent in a week.

Gonna jump on this and say yes. Pavement are the best band (not just rock) of the last 30 years. I'm a big Wowee Zowee fan. Grounded live is incredible. I saw them twice on their reunion tour. Can't wait to catch them again in Porto.
