I'm so angry about this today, the world cup is something I look forward to to the point that when it comes around i'm in a frenzy and now that it's started, i'm just so FURIOUS that this joy and antcipation been taken away from us. There is so little to be happy about at the moment and this is just one thing on top of everything else. I'm not watching for as long as i can stand it (my resolve is already having a wobble) but at least i can keep track of the scores through the cheering around the housing estate, I assume England just scored.

The england bid was for 2018 though, so i'll give him a pass. he was probably at the russia world cup too though.

I actually find it weird that Morgan Freeman did the voice, seeing as he was also at the bid to host the 2022 world cup for the USA back in...2011. Being involved in these football related things has given me the impression he likes football. If that's the case, he is a much bigger man than me, I would be snubbing this left right and centre in a petty sulk that i didn't get the bid due to bribes.

Got the train down to Brighton after work to see Bellowhead for what i think must be the...10th time. They were playing in London a few days earlier but sod seeing them in the Albert Hall, that place is a atmosphere vacuum for up-tempo gigs. The vibe was a bit strange but I've never been to the Brighton Dome before so it was nice to tick that off the list. Bellowhead themselves were excellent as usual. Sea-shanties, Murder ballads and songs about being swindled by prostitutes, what more could you want? I'd love to see them at the farm. Either west holts again or acoustic tent would be great. i'm surprised they don't play there more often to be honest.

That's actually not so bad. the floor seats are verrrrry expensive but i wouldn't mind going for the nosebleeds for £50. I imagine i'll be getting my tickets through twickets to avoid any dynamic pricing (Which is insane, but here we are)

I don't think it is inconsistent. they're a british artist - british acts tend not to charge as much as US artists so people are surprised. (you'd expect it from Oasis because they're dicks)

The others are all international artists that have stuff to ship about so would expect it to be more pricey. I think because it’s blur it’s more shocking. If it had been Oasis id expect it. But I expect better from blur. I don’t know why.
