Yup, there's an Aperol spritz bar there and it's a mad price.

From what I remember pints of Cider 5.80, beer was 6.90 I think, shorts were all cans and 5.80 for most of them, some places were selling cans (330ml) of cider for 5.50. Plenty of bars and the queues move quick enough really. The Peroni bar is a good spot and the Peroni was savage.

Life were excellent, had never heard of them before but I became a fan immediately.

Stood at the left of stage, right at relay 6 facing a speaker stack, brilliant for the Pixies, shocking for PJ, moved into the centre a bit back, brilliant sound. How they have speakers in the middle of the screens was beyond me, PJ were magnificent.

The Teenage Kicks stage? No? OK then.

I was watching a recording and wasn't impressed by the sound at all, vocal levels were all over the shop.

Just watched it back, TV doesn't do it an ounce of justice, especially Live and let die, I did enjoy seeing what was on the screens behind him though.

Blossoms stayed in Campervans right behind ours, nice bunch of lads.

Had a blast of a weekend once we managed to collect our tickets, a lot of stewards around the gates were clueless and caused a lot more hassle than needed. Signage also could be a lot better. Walked our legs off and saw some brilliant acts, met some lovely people. Something for everyone in the arena even those not really into music, a wonderful place and some great memories made.
