Met Office/BBC/Accuweather/XC all pretty much aligned now - looks like we are going to get some cracking days Thursday to Saturday then some light rain on Sunday. I'll take that! Put it this way, for me in Aberdeen, those temperatures are what I've been looking for all summer!! As long as the Sunday rain doesn't turn into that of 2017 proportions, we are laughing. For anyone who hasn't been to EOTR before - it turns VERY cold in the evening. We always factor in time early evening to head back to our tent for extra layers.

Myself and my husband (both double jabbed) have also been pretty much self isolating this week and will continue to do so until we leave Aberdeen on Tuesday. In Scotland, we are very much still wearing masks everywhere so I will be doing the same in the hotels we are staying at the two nights prior to the festival, requesting to eat outside, etc. I really dreamed of EOTR being the escape from reality that I'm used to, but it just can't be. I'm willing to accept the risk that we are taking, but will be cautious and do what I feel comfortable with. And don't be offended if I go in the toilet after you and I stand wafting the door for a while first! 😛

Simon Taffe is posting a lot of instagram stories from site which is getting me very excited! Plus the fact that I have just switched on my out of office for a two week holiday which includes EOTR ... BUZZING!
